I used to roleplay with a good friend years ago using fake Facebook accounts. Weird, I know...I used a fantasy name generator and it gave me Anya. I invented her last name, though, which I usually have to use, because plain 'ol 'Anya' is already taken. My username on most sites is 'Anyaheirkoya'. :-) Anya's personality I invented, and slightly adopted as my own...she's my sassy, aggressive side. ;)

I was in a Daybreakers (movie) kick when I registered...dropped the "s" since I'm not plural. :)

I went out on a limb and used my first and middle name. :winner:

Baha I was pronouncing it 'Cody-ay' as well. I'll probably continue anyway :)

I see/hear the name I always pictured a professional looking Oni in a suit or getting ready for work...like he is people, so it makes me smile to think

Mine is a name my hubby came up with for me years ago. I use it on most sites I join. I find it easier to have one username than trying to remember a bunch of different ones for different sites.

I was born with my name, or rather it was chosen for me. My dad is actually Neal, so I'm a Jr. Though I don't answer to Jr and I don't write it when I sign my name either.

Normally my username is SiAScORCH because that was my handle when I programmed booters on AOL 4.0-5.0 when I was a teenager.

I'm another one who tends to the same user name over and over- this ones been my all-purpose for awhile :P When I got my first smart phone, I had to pick a new email for the first time in a LONG time and my first e-mail was this emo thing I came up with in early high school. So I went with my two favorite things- sunshine and orcas :)

Mine is nok because it's short for nokturnal my old gaming name and the 1888 is the year Glasgow Celtic fc was formed

Growing up my favorite book was Reptiles of North America. It was written by a man who is considered to be the father of American Herpitology, Raymond Lee Ditmars. He died in 1942 so I figured he was done with it.

A name from my xbox live account. I chose it because I was about fun (and still am) rather than spazzing out over a game.

Many moons ago, Hotwjeels company was running an awesome promotion where y they created an early version of an MMO called Planet Hotwheels. There were little stickers inside the hotwheel packages that you could peel to reveal a code, and the codes would give you prizes in the game. You could win new cars, special energy boosters, decal sets, etc. to customize your vehicle before a race.

That was my FIRST ting I ever logged in on the net!! I needed a username (which I had never picked/heard of prior to that) and I wanted one that would be unique. All the ones based on my real name were taken, so I used one I knew nobody would use: Mephibosheth. It's after a Bible character who's famous for having a long name (there's an interesting story about him too; PM my if you want to know about that lol). I added the 1 just invade someone else may know about Mephobosheth. So far the name hasn't failed me yet :)

I was always about 10 years more mature than my peers growing up. Kids like to call each other just their last name, especially my friends; friends would call me Mr Lang versus the traditional 'Lang' and it stuck long term.

Are you Japanese? I was just thinking most people would have to google 'Oni' to figure out what you were talking about. :) Only reason I know is I watch a lot of anime, and have brushed up on my Japanese folklore. :gj:

My username for here is so simple it is obvious. I love ball pythons hence the name ballpythonluvr.

33 years and counting living in Vegas, and I focus mainly on Ball Pythons.

I want to move east though (Virginia/North Carolina area)... Then I will have to rethink my username.

Back in the mid 90's,usernames could only be 8 characters. AOL assigned this for my email and username. First initial of my first name and my last name truncated.

Easier to remember one username, and everyone know me by it now.

I used to train in MMA, did it for 3 years or so very intensely, hence "Octagon". Came across crested geckos around that time, needed a username for the repashy forums, hence "Gecko". The 729 is a hangover from some other usernames from when I was much younger.

Well, there's 2 reasons for my name.

haha I go through cycles.. Though I do try to eat healthy most of the time with my schedule now it does not always happen. I am big into working out though, ultimate goal of completing an iron man, and maybe get good enough to qualify for hawaii! :) some day.... but gotta get back to running, hurt my foot ant the doc or physical therapists cant figure it out yet :mad:. Anyway....

"Sorraia" is a breed of wild horse. One of the few truly wild horses remaining today. I think they are beautiful, despite their primitive appearance. Very few people know about them. The name is also very unique, so I adopted it as my online name. Once in awhile I come across someone else using the name, but that's very rare.

My user name was a nickname that was given to me by accident so to speak. My name is Ernie. In high school I had a very close friend, John. I think at graduation he might of barely made 5 feet tall. I don't remember what was going on one day, but I was giving him grief and calling him Long Johns, a nickname he hated. He became flustered, and couldn't come up with any sort of come back, and just stuttered Ern...Ern...Erndogg. A couple friends over heard this, and it stuck. It never bothered me.

My name is actually a character from one of my favorite books. Villains by Necessity by Eve Forward. The main character is Sam the assassin and at one point they are talking about their past and Sam mentions his full name is Samalander and how he was rescued from a fire by a member of the assassins guild when he was very young. It's an awesome book where the bad guys have to fight the good guys to save the world. Sama sounds more feminine Sam is usually taken, I do use Samalander often as well.

My username is one that use for almost every site and forum. I used to use censored after I was asked on a few sites when I was younger, to keep my opinions to myself, usually because they were valid and caused some controversy amongst people who didn't want to hear their opinions criticized. Censored was taken on a lot of sites and so was uncensored - so I started using decensored. It's been with me for 10 years now lol. :P

No Big Deal #508 is my roller derby name and number

mine came from the three dogs i had at the time i got a computer rainer, snoball and k
so i made raisnok, then i got to thinking one day and figured i could change it im not goot at picking names so i switched it to snoraik, but raisnok stuck

rainer and snoball were pekingese, k was a chow.....rainer lived to be 16, snoball 14, and k lived to be 15.

my plans when all of my current dogs are gone i want to get another chow, i will name her patty cakes
