OK guys, its time to Hatch!!

Just another impatient post while I wait for eggs to hatch. This is my outlet, so I don't go cutting any eggs! Today is day 57 and none of my 5 eggs have started to pip. My incubator has been at a steady 87-88, but I think the eggs are heating up because now my thermometer is reading 89. Nothing has changed, so I can only assume the eggs are generating some heat. I candled them on Day 55 and all of the little guys are moving about. I even caught a neat looking video of the movement. They are starting to look very squished in the eggs, and I really can't imagine how they fit in there! All of the eggs are dimpled, except one which looks the same as it did on Day 1. Kind of surprising to me, but I am not worried since it candled fine. I have made a decision not to cut eggs until day 62. If they make it that long and are over due then something might be wrong. Really hope I don't have to cut though. I want to see them pip on their own! I'm so freaking excited! Fingers crossed for a good looking, healthy clutch. The pairing was Normal (male) to Dinker (female).

Question, still learning morphs and names and what different terms mean - whats a dinker? Thanks! They're lovely though!

Hey girl..I knew I saw that snake before. You got the pastel het stripe and the het stripe form me this weekend. I didn't know that was you on here.. I told you if you didn't get home to pippers get them sissors..

A Dinker is a word used for a BP pattern that is trying to be proved out. Until then it will be called a Dinker. If it is proved out then the breeder who proved it out to be a new morph has the rights to name the new morph.

Hey Freakie_Frog! Yeah, I had no idea that you were on here either! Hi there :-) it was actually my friend Rachael who picked up the two snakes (really nice snakes I am jealous of) from you ;-) But yeah, I did show you that very picture! I am really trying hard not to go for the scissors just yet... I want to see my first clutch pip on their own! But like I said, if they are at Day 62 the scissors are coming out!

Don't fret too much, I had one clutch pip at day 64 this season. Sometimes patients is the best way to do things.

My clutch in 2009 waited until day 68 to finally go. My rule of thumb is that since the eggs are alive, I won't give up on them unless they smell dead. ;)

Yes, I cut 1 yesterday (Day 64). You can follow that on another thread of mine (day 64 and still no pips). It is the end of day 65 today, and still no pips. The one egg that I cut is looking good. The little guy is moving around and changing positions in there, but I am still yet to see if it has a head :P
