What color are your racks?

Hey folks!
I'm considering ordering a reptile basics rack for my KSB, hognose, and future KSB (and maybe another rack for a couple BPs next year). After looking at their website and numerous posts, I noticed that the majority of keepers seem to select the black racks.

If you guys wouldn't mind, please vote for which color you use and please explain why. I.e. is there a reason other than aesthetics, black makes the snakes more comfortable, etc.

p.s. this is my first attempt at posting a poll, so hopefully everything will work out.

I make my racks, their white, because well thats whats available, and what looks best to me. The color of the rack does not affect the animal any.

I have black. Just my preference, doesn't matter to the animals. Apparently most keepers do feel that way because alot of manufacturers are dropping white or charging more for it because of rising costs that come with ordering smaller quantities of white PVC.

I agree here also, white is easier to clean but shows the most dirt. Black looks cleaner but the hardest to clean kind of like a car. That's my opinion on it...

It's all up to which color you like, as others have said it won't effect anything.

Mine are all black. I'd love to see some crazy colors come out, and would gladly pay quite a bit extra for a room full of purple racks. Or hot pink. I'm girly that way. :D

Hey!! Purple is not girly, it's my favorite color! LOL! I'd buy purple racks in a second!

Thanks for your responses everyone! I didn't even think about the cleaning issue.
I also agree...if racks came in other colors, I'd like a set in aqua.

Black for me.

It doesn't really matter for me, but since I have white ones I will stick to it :)

Hmmm I know my plastic supplier offers a bunch of pvc colours. I wonder what colours other than black and white they keep in stalk?
Also to the op. my racks are black. Doubt it makes much of a difference to the snakes. Although I know many people that are certain being less reflective black racks make the snakes more comfortable.

Black as well for me. Either color has pro's and con's. I give it a good wipe down when I either spring forward or fall back (daylight savings time). Works out pretty well for me. :)

My adult racks are gray (ARS). I have one 60 slot baby rack that is yellow. The rest of my baby racks are black.
