What do you think the most under rated morph is?

Exactly what the title says. List off what you think the most under rated morphs are and why.

For me they are Vanilla and Red Axanthic.

Vanilla because it can do so much. Just look at what it has already done and imagine what it can do for so many other things.... I think a Pied Vanilla would be beautiful.

Red Axanthic because that to me is the most beautiful adult animal... And again a Pied Red Axanthic would be awesome... I wonder if it has been done yet.

Pastel

Why pastel? It has been crossed with pretty much everything...

It still makes everything it touches nicer..... at a cost next to nothing ;)

Next on the list would be a Normal. Ask anyone with a 1.0 GHI how much a breeder Normal is worth :gj:

I've been on a Spotnose kick lately. Very plain on it's own, but it's got an awesome super form and looks great in certain combos.

I love Spotnose and will continue to work with it for a long time.

Honestly, for years I really believed that Yellow Belly didn't get the attention it deserved. It has picked up quite a bit now, but had this question been asked 3 years ago I would have said YB.

yellowbelly. With the crazy combos they help produce, they are very inexpensive.
Also Hypo/ghost

I would say fire. I know it's not exactly underrated, but it's a very subtle morph that when combined with others makes the color POP

Granite. Looks very close to normal on its own, not expensive, awesome in combos.

Genetic Stripe gets my vote. The lesser g-stripe is one of the nicest combos I've seen.

Cant decide just one so my votes are: Spotnose, Yellowbelly, Vanilla

Ghost (Hypo), they make everything spectacular and look amazing as adults and are worth peanuts:confusd:

het red axanthic / red axanthic is a good one.


Pastel got to be the most OVERrated morph, people have pastel or super pastel in everything, even in those morphs that turn uglier when you add pastel. Can one thing be a fad and underrated at the same time? i dont think so. Can the morph that is present in the most combos be underrated? When WOBP still had an advanced search, there were 560 combos with pastel in it and 190 with super pastel. Spider coming in distant second with just 350 combos, then yellowbelly with 290.

So i also would disagree that yellowbelly is underrated. Its in the top 3, with pastel and spider, making it one of the most popular and frequently used morphs.

a really REALLY underrated morph is mahogany. Its like cinnamon or black pastel, except that the patternless super mahogany is even darker than a super cinnamon or a super black pastel. And the super mahogany is totally healthy, no duckbill, no kinking.

and there are only 10 combos with mahogany on WOBP so far. It really makes you wonder why people dont try to tap into all that unused potential.

I vote the Yellowbelly or Pastel. God help me but I do love my Lemonblast. I get made fun of because we have some really outstanding morphs, but there is something about the color contrast and simplicity that I like.

Im going to have to jump on the het Red Axanthic bandwagon, I think there is still so much more to be done, plus no one combines anything new with them. I really want to see it with GHI, paint, idk... Id like to see it mixed up more in stuff, I think there is a lot of potential there.

Yellowbelly for sure. Its one of my top 5 favorites. I was trying to add more YB into my collection but couldn't! :(

Yellowbelly came Out of the Shadows couple years ago and now by itself or Crossed is must in every collection...

For Me 2 most underrated Morphs are Red Axanthic and Spotnose...

there are more combos with yellowbelly in the database than there are with any other gene, except for pastel and spider. Its bigger and more deeply explored than enchi, lesser, mojave, pinstripe, or fire, or any other known gene.

YB is under rated because you can get them for so cheap but they make such amazing combos. I personally just think nice breeding sized female YB's are worth their weight in gold!

The question is which morph is the most under rated not the most under utilized.

I agree YB, Spotnose and Het Red for me. I plan to add some Spotnose and Het Red to the collection later this year.

Mojave and Hypo considering under priced for what all awesome they do. Can't believe I still don't have a hypo Mojave.

I really think hypo. I talk to a ton of ppl who say they don't care for hypo or mention how cheap it is :( It makes everything better!!

G-stripe is another that seems seriously underrated.

I sorta agree and disagree with that. Pastels are overrated because of all the junk totally browned out pastels floating around. I would say HIGH quality pastels are one of the more underrated morphs, most people junk bunch them in with the junk low end ones but they are a completely different caliber of snake.

I'm on the pastel boat. On their own they are about as cheap as normals but so many much more expensive combos are not possible without them.
