    Monthly Weigh-Day
First, a bit of bad news.. My female clown 66% het hypo turned out to be a MALE clown.. REALLY sucks ... So he will be listed in the male section.

If you've seen my previous posts, these weigh-day posts are not as much about showing off the snake, but are mostly for updating everyone on my collection and feeding habits :gj:. OH, and just about everyone was empty at this weigh-in :gj:

    Males are up first:
Normal at 2588 grams - Spottily feeding, but he's in no danger of starving :P!:

Thanks! If she wasn't so bitey, I'd take more pictures of her :gj:.. Gotta get more meals into her too so maybe that'll calm her down :P

Ehh, I didn't have a great experience with him to begin with. I'm not going to expect a great response, but I'm going to contact him tomorrow with zero hopes of seeing any compensation..

Gotta put those 1200 plus males on a diet. At that weight they become lazy breeders

Untrue, it completely depends on the male. If they are overweight, yes, but a healthy weight for a 3ft breeder is going to be completely different than from a 4ft breeder. My yb male had a long fast this season and is looking a little thin for me to be comfortable breeding him (he now weighs in at 1300g) so Im cutting him off from the girls for a bit. 1300g is underweight for him, hes just a large male (and is my most enthusiastic breeder)!

I concur. My retired Pastel regularly tops 3000g and he was by far my most voracious breeder.

Also, that Lesser Bee is smokin' hot!
