Re: Well they are all out
Rookie mistake, that's why I come here after consulting with some friends and seeing your replies I have two supers five pastels and one normal. I'll take it for my first ever clutch. But my question is now what do I do they are in a tub with a wet paper towel and a small bowl of water. I'm thinking I wait until they shed and then try to feed a pinky rat. If someone could give me some info on how to go from here I would appreciate it.
1.1 pastels, 1.0 lesser, 0.1 spider, 1.3 norm. 1.0 fire 0.1 RTB 0.0 sav. Mon.

if you haven't yet, make plans on how you're going to separate them. make some type of record to keep track on feeding ect... they shed some where around 10 days after they leave the egg. get them sexed. helps in determining what you're going to hold back. I feed my hatchlings every 3 days for awhile. good luck with them. don

the next step would be to split them up and put them in a hatchling rack. it wont be a problem to keep them together like this for a few days, but for feeding they need to all be seperate.
I assume you already gave them a bath (for cleaning) and inspected them all?
Anyway, congratulations, looks like a really nice clutch, all look healthy :)

Awesome either way man, congrats! :D
Seperate them out when they shed before you feed 'em. Good luck! :gj:

Perfect....Leave them like this until they shed. Make sure you keep the paper towel moist and you may need to change it every couple of days or so. As they shed start to separate them into individual tubs. You could offer a meal the day after they shed mine usually take right away. I go straight to hand picked small mice for the first two meals to get the feeding response going then I offer a small rat pup for the third meal.
Congrats and Good Luck

seriously?? cute
before the first shed they look like these shiny slimy hatchling things, and after 1st shed they will look like real young ball pythons :D It will be easy to see.
They dont gradually grow out of the shiny smooth and wet-looking baby skin they have right now, it goes away suddenly with the 1st shed.

Don't worry you will be able to tell who shed. Once one sheds the rest will follow just like hatching.
