Going outta town in 3 hours..

My girl just started to shed, and I have to leave town and have nobody to check on her (none in the family likes snakes and my friends have no experience) Will she be okay? Shes literally getting rid of the skin right now so hopefully shes done in an hour or two, it looks like she pooped right before she started so I'd like to get that cleaned out and her water bowls changed before I leave. I won't be back until Sunday night

If it has nice full sheds you should not worry.

How long does it generally take to get the shed completly off? If it comes down to it.. I could skip out on my trip. Also.. she just ate last night so hopefully she didn't throw up in there nd its sctually poop lol

I really doubt she regurgitated. If she took it last night the shed process should not make her regurg.

Each snake can take different times. If the skin is already pilling off it should not be to much longer.

I'm leaving very shortly nd she still has yet to finish. It hasn't cone off all in one piece even though the humidity was always correct. Can it kill her if I leave before her shed is complete?

Snakes are pretty good at this stuff. I'd personally clean the poop, give fresh water and return her to the enclosure before leaving town.

I cleaned it up. Two bowls of water. I turned her heat lamp off but left the pad on with the thermostat so. I'm hoping she will be good. Quite the worried dad! I'm just hoping that, because she didn't shed all in one piece.. she will be okay with me being gone 4 days

She will be fine. You say humidity is correct but if it was, she should shed in one piece. What are you using to measure humidity? You could be getting an inaccurate reading.

If you are using the Acurite to measure humidity it's likely off. I have those and

and the Acurite is consistently 5% off. I did test these, put multiple in one tank side by side and they are very consistent.

Yeah I'm using an acurite. Its always between 50-70% so if its off a tad it shouldnt be a huge problem. Nd a lot came off then it seemed like she ripped it off rubbing against stuff

If it's big sections like the shed came off in two pieces, not a big deal, especially if she's using scratchy cage furniture like a stick etc. It's when you see lot's of little pieces (like a human sunburn peeling) that red flags come up.
