Re: Sunset
That's totally amazing! Wow, can't wait to see what you produce with it! :D

Re: Sunset
wow, she is certainly one of the most beautiful BP's I have seen. Congrats:bow:

Gorgeous! I have been wanting a Sunset since I first saw them. Maybe one day. If I remember right, they're a recessive gene correct?

I'm not even sure what the current price really is. They're pretty and I'd love to have one, but I have enough projects in mind to keep me occupied until the time comes. Plus, I think it's probably better not to rush into the new morphs too soon, especially if the price is so high. It seems to be risky business. Kind of like buying new electronics and finding out there is a major flaw. I doubt that will happen, but good things come to those who wait (and save up). :)

Wow very nice! I have always loved sunsets!!!
-
Congrats on the great pick up.

Sunset
The first and last time I heard of the sunset ball was on snakebytes. He apparently paid 70k for his. I'm SO curious to see how much the price has dropped since.
Anyways, congrats on your purchase. She's lovely!

Re: Sunset
Thank you very much for the comments! This is a recessive gene.
For those wondering about the price on this project, the price isn't really any different on a male than what Brian paid for his original male. This female was $45,000 alone.
-
Yep that is why I will not have one for a long time.

Sunset
goodness. thats more than i've made in the last 2 years. haha no doubt recessive genes are a better investment though. if you'll do a no interest payment plan of $50 a month for the next 75 years, i'll take her! i'm curious to see how much a pair of sunset hets will be when they become available to us mere mortals.
-
She's beautiful!! It will be cool to see her grow and see what she produces :)

Great addition Ben, cant wait to see what you produce with her.
-
Nice pickup Ben. I am sure you will plug her into some sweet projects.

Re: Sunset
I've loved this morph ever since I first saw it on SnakeBytes! I can't wait to see what combos you produce!

My understanding is there are a few hets already out in the public that are not known as hets. If I remeber the story correctly, Brian thought the sunset was a co-dom and when the first five clutches didn't produce a visual, he thought the project was a bust. He sold most of the the hatchlings off as normals. It was only later that he put a couple he had held back together, and they produced two sunsets. Can you imagine his surprise, coupled with the knowledge that the snakes he had sold for probably $10 to $25 dollars were hets.
The problem is who is going to pair a $50,000 to $70,000 animal with a Petco snake. They may never be realized, but they are out there.
Anyways, gorgeous snake you have the Ben.

Dang! That sucks. Talk about playing the lottery if you bought a normal in that time. I guess no one would ever know though since they don't have a sunset male or female to pair them with.

Re: Sunset
Very nice indeed! - Could you straighten her out, so we can see a bit more of her?
Cheers
