Snakes hiding in pockets?

I'm just wondering if anybody elses snake likes hiding in their various pockets lol. Im handling Elysia today and she was pretty content for a while then decided enough was enough and started to explore my clothes. Then she found the jackpot! My pants! I have big baggy pants with tons of pockets, and she just dove right into my pocket and is hiding out in there. I can peek inside the pocket a little and see her head just sitting there looking out at me ^_^ Its sooo cute!

Awww - that sounds so cute! I've had my snakes try and go through my sleeves.

LOL! I was once handling a corn snake who tried to go down my shirt. I'd like ot see a bp try and squeeze into a pocket, LOL!

I'm sure a baby BP can fit into a pocket ^_^ At least I'm sure it can fit into my pockets ^_^ I could have fit 3 or 4 more Elysia's in my pocket!

Well today was the first time she did it, but I bet she would have stayed in there all day if I let her. She was extremely comfortable in there. I left in her in there for about 15min then I decided to put her back in her tank. She really didn't want to get out either.

LOL, maybe she likes the warmth and snugness of the pocket. I wonder if there would be a way to incorperate a pocket into a hide box. Hmmmmmmm

howd you get her out of your pocket? did you just shove you hand in there? It seems like if you did, then it might hurt her

Nono I didn't shove my hand in there ^_^ As obscene as it sounds I put my hand on the inside of my pants where the pocket is and lifted the pocket like I was going to push it inside out and she just slithered out ^_^ Was very gentle.

Nah she just ate the other day and I don't have any pinkies! Only Fuzzies and normal Mice ^_^ And FTH, Maybe you can sew yourself a buncha pockets and hot glue them to the sides of your tank? I'm thinking about doing it myself ^_^

My husbands california king snake would do that with his shirt pocket. It was so cute to see his little head stick out the top of the pocket.

Our newest albino burmese python rescue was out the other day with me. As I was looking her over she decided to crawl into the hole in my pants. The hole is right at the knee, and she is a little too big. It would've been a moment for funniest home videos as I stumbled around with her. My husband just cracked up for a second before helping. It was pretty funny.

I have some button up shirts that have pockets. When Jojo was little he loved being in there he would go with me everywhere like that. He would sleep most of the time and he would poke he head out to see whats going on he is so cute. The strange thing is that he never got out of that habit and now he is 38" long a 800 grams and he still wants to sleep in my pocket. Go figure.

Edit: Forgot to add that when I bought him they were going to give him to me in a paper bag but decided that my pocket was a better place. Maybe that is where he got it from. And has a nasty habit of trying to find a pocket even if one is not there and it really freaks out some of the girls that hold him.
