    Pinstripe clutch : ultralights ?
    Hi,

Wondering if you think the 3 lighter pins are ultralights? My Pin girl is an UL.

    THANKS for looking :)

Well I have an idea but your pairing should answer your question, you do know what you paired right? Do you have a picture of the sire(s) and dame?

    x2 all around.

I would love to know what an ultralight is? My trusted advisor google doesn't seem to know anything about them.

THANK YOU for the compliment !
From World of ball pythons morph list:

    UltraPin

DARN.... partial color blindness sure causes some issues when identifying babies. Maybe it wasn't too smart to use multiple sires for each of my dames (lol).

possible dads are : Pewter (lemon pastel x black pastel) , pastel , Mojave

THANKS for taking the time to respond. I have pics, but not in a format to currently add to this thread. Please see list of possible dads in another reply. Maybe just different amounts of pigment vs. different genetics. I see 2 different sets of colors: 2 darker and 3 lighter. I am glad to see they all seem to be healthy. I love the pigpiles ! The 2 clutches that have hatched and the one that should on Aug 2.... make the effort and learning curve that I've experienced all worth while.

The darker ones almost look like cinnapins. I wonder if the Black Pastel is influencing them.

The pictures aren't coming up, but if your pinstripe is an ultramel pinstripe, the babies wouldn't come out like that unless the father was het. Ultramel. And from wob, its not a vague color difference. Ultramel is BRIGHT. it's also recessive.

if the genes that COULD be there, besides pinstripe, are pastel, lemon pastel, black pastel, and mojave, then i think its quite clear.

i think the 3 light ones are likely to be jigsaws, meaning pinstripe + mojave.

In looking @ pics of jigsaws and comparing to another pic I have... I believe they match and you are correct. If that is right, that means that mating # 3 is the winner

Looks like MOJO man started off 3rd in line to spend time with the PIN lady, but was the 1st to cross the finish line :)
THANK YOU for taking the time to give feedback.

THANK YOU... I sure hope you're right about the black pastel pins, just because I think they look sharp.

I've been "concerned" about how being partially color blind would impact my ability to identify some morphs, BUT.... it beats the trouble I'd caused myself the 2 years prior... I have been only able to hatch 0-8 and 1-7 eggs up until this point ( all my fault ). This is season 3 and I have 5 adult girls. All run through multiple males and I have 2 hatched clutches ( the other hatched clutch was 6 eggs and was normal x pewter & x mojo). The incubator has a 5 egg clutch that is mojo/het pied x het pied & x norm/het pied. Sure would be nice to see a pied or a BLL.... that way I don't have to ask what they are(lol).

I would like to ask a side question based on the outcome of getting a 2nd opinion :

What ( if any) difference is there between having a pinstripe mojave vs. a jigsaw (pinstripe/mojave) ?

    THANKS!
