holy albino
So I came across this Craigslist add where I live that is selling a albino male for 300 and a female for 350. Or 600 for both. I so wish the wife would let me get more snakes. It's a deal I don't want to pass up. Guess it's time for some butt kissing. Lol

That's about market price, not really a steal. Make sure the animals are healthy and go for it if you like them. :gj:

Wow, I haven't seen albinos that cheap around here
-
Me neither. Lowest I've seen has been around 400. Granted, age is a big factor, too. How old are they?

I've seen males for as low as $200-250 at expos and females for $350-400. :gj:

x2 on not the best deal in the world. I'd see if there's upcoming expos in your area: I got my hc albino male for $300 last year.

Re: holy albino
Keep lookin'! I got a 780g female albino for $250 off fauna...THAT's a steal. And she's freaking gorgeous. Keep your eyes open, keep sweet-talkin' the wife, and you'll find your perfect albino(s)!

I'm glad I don't have to kiss butt for snakes in my relationship. My wife is all about getting more for our collection. :gj:

i think, being a highly visual recessive, the price for the morph is pretty much bottomed out.
i guess it will stay constant or fall very, very slowly.
the thing is when prices for such a visual morph get so low, all the demand from those that just want a good looking fancy pet kicks in. morphs can fall quickly in price in these high-price regions where the demand is generated by breeders, so a morph can go down from 10000 to 5000 to 3000 to 2000 quite quickly. But below 1000 you start getting into the premium pet market and when the price is down at 500 you can literally sell hundreds of them, and hundreds more when it goes down to 350.
And thats where i see albino. Hundreds get sold, but the demand for highly visual inexpensive morphs for pets is so high that these hundreds just get sold without affecting the price much at all.
