So I went to check on my baby last night cause I haven't seen him in a day and he wasn't to happy with my pulling up his hide. Lol

I have had my new guy for around 2-3 weeks now he started his shed last week so between getting used to his new cage and shedding I havn't even been able to hold him once! Its driving me crazy.

Glad to hear! I was a little worried when i got the vision cage set up, the first day humidity was up at 82%, but now everything is stabilized and my lil guy is happy!

Reptibark in my AP PVC enclosures always sends the humidity up past 90%+. PVC and ABS plastic retains moisture from wood substrates a little too well sometimes. I finally switched to paper towels in my PVC enclosures and humidity stays perfectly between 50%-60%. During sheds after they go clear, I simply add a washcloth soaked in warm water then wrung out and place it on top of their warm side hide. Keeps a perfect 70%+ and I remove it after they shed.

With the critter cage it's hard to keep humidity over 60 so I got my feptifogger fixed and gave him a moist hide. I'll post pixs after He's done shedding.

I love the T8! I really was wanting to get a couple for my snakes, but got such a good deal on the used vision cage that I didn't want to pass it up.

As promised a pix of him after shed.

He's a little nippy today sense it's feeding day. He snapped at me after the pictures was taken. Tried to bite my phone. Lol.
