freshly Shed: Fire Calico, Clown, & our new Orange Ghost
I had a bunch of snakes shed so I spent the evening with a bottle of wine and photographing some of the most beautiful, freshly shed snakes in our collection! I hope you don't mind me sharing!

Here is our male clown.....can any words describe this little guy? Maybe phenomenal...beautiful...stunning?!?! He is just plain ol' awesome!
    https://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...30013440_o.jpghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...07974116_o.jpghttps://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.n...95932523_o.jpghttps://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...12376640_o.jpghttps://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphot...72688584_o.jpg

Here is our 2012 female Calico who gets whiter and better with every shed:

And here is our 2013 Female Orange Ghost we won a few days ago from George Vesper Ball Pythons. She is a very nice OG/Hypo and has a higher contrast than my current OG pair. She will fit in nicely with our breeding plans going forward

usually prefer clowns with a more reduced pattern, but that lil dude is hot.

I know that is the norm, and I spent many days looking at different Clowns. I just prefer the busier pattern clowns due to the high contrast and awesome pattern. Plus, I think they lend themselves better when combined with busier morphs which is my future goal projects (Candied Clown, Bumblebee Candied Clowns, Pinstripe Clowns, leopard Clowns) which is why I just fell head over heels with this little feller when I saw him :gj:

SMoking clown. Wow. Amazing to me that he has nothing else in him. I like both extremes of clowns. Gotta love anything Calico. Nice snakes. :gj:

I agree with you. I have yet to work with the morph but from what I've seen I really prefer the busier patterns over the reduced ones.

thanks :banana:I almost bought a pastel Clown but when I saw him I fell in love and couldn't justify the $1000 upcharge for the pastel component. Calico anything is amazing, but combined with Fire (and enchi) it really takes it to a whole different level. Thanks again! :gj:

My plan is to put the two together lol. I already have a 1.1 100% Het Orange Ghost Clown pair and I'll be putting that sexy clown to our killer Humblebee female next season. I want a Bumblebee Candied Clown :-)

I'm another one who prefers more reduced, bright clowns, but that guy is a knockout. I'd be happy to own him and work him into a cinny clown project ;)

EDIT: you know josh... If we combined him and all his donuts with my girl and her donuts we could probably open a Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme franchise! :gj:

Wow they are all awesome! I'm loving that calico! And of course the clown, there is a breeder here in Iowa that works with super busy clowns that look like that and I love them!
