tsk axanthic all turn brown, right??
I know VPI seems to be the most popular line, but I have a TSK that was made by JDconstiction. I think he looks pretty dang good, and he is a 2010. He shed today, so I snapped a CELL phone pic to show him off. Yes, cell phone. imagine how pretty he would be with a good camera? I want to breed these in the future, it all comes down to the selective breeding, and JDconstiriction has proved that!!

Wow very nice! I have a het. TSK trio and I bred them this year, only one female dropped and I didn't get any Axanthics.. I was very annoyed.
Yours look awesome for TSK. Not all TSK axanthics will brown out horribly, and not all VPI axanthics will stay bright. I've actually seen some fire axanthic combos that look better with the TSK line.

here is a few more pics, again I hate how everyone says all axanthics turn crappy with age. It is not true. There are pretty examples of all lines. These are the same snake, just outside in sun light.

and 1 more.

if you have some good pics of adult axanthics, toss em up as well.

Really nice! I don't think they all brown out, just depends on selection and quality. I've seen some pictures of VPI that looked pretty brown too. Just goes to show... ;)
I have two SK axanthics, one male and one female. They are still very young, only 8 months old. The female is looking darker than the male. She always looks pretty brown in pictures, but isn't quite as bad in person. The male looks pretty nice though! Not much brown on him. I'm anxious to see how they turn out as they grow.

Awesome, and I agree breeding is more important than what line, I was trying to have a little sarcasm in my title. Axanthics are very hard to catch the colors of in a picture too, making them appear more brown then they really are sometimes. I just feel the morph gets a bad rap when it is one of my favorites, and they are one of the main reasons I got into ball pythons.

I LOVE axanthic and the combinations with it! If I do start breeding, that's something I want to focus on.

In my personal experience, most axanthics will brown out over time. That is why we went with black axanthics from Justin kobylka.

Can you post a pic? I've never heard of black axanthic.

some do, but not all. I also think it depends on how they are bred, and there are some very good breaders, but some very bad examples as well of every line. It is almost like dealing with carpet pythons, have to look at parents to get an idea of how it will be.

You can't really judge by pics, either. Most adult axanthics look brown in pics. They are hard to photograph well.

This is very true. I think most look much better in person.
