    well, no pieds again.
I've bred my het pieds and as seems usual for me produced no pieds. Only had two eggs this time. The thing is, many of them seem to come out with unusual patterns. Anybody know what going on? Here are a couple of bad pics. (I can never seem to get the lighting right, they're always so dark)
    The two new hatchlings.

And here is a sibling from a previous year.

They just always look so different from my regular normal hatchlings.

I got my original breeders from Ralph, is it possible I might have leopard in there somewhere? I'm really not sure what to look for.

No idea what's going on, but they do have some wicked looking patterns. Have you tried proving out any previous hatchlings? Or are they still too small? And I have to ask, but are the parents 100% hets? Because that would definitely explain a lot lol. Hopefully you'll have better luck with a bigger clutch next go around.

I did produce one pied in the past, but only the one, I just don't seem to have very good odds with this pair

I think those are some pretty cool normals and would be worth breeding in some selective breeding projects for aberrant pattern. Maybe there's a chance they could be het pieds as well.

Wow very strange patterns... I agree that the 3rd does look like a black pastel. The 2nd ones tail is funky.... I like it ~ Tre

Number 2 definitely looks het pied - has the funky bleeding pattern that a lot of het pieds have. I like it!

Sure why not? He's a poor feeder and an even worse breeder so I might as well use him as a model.
    My one and only pied.
