Sorry to hear. Cutting isn't for everyone. Had you cut before?

I'm curious as to what you think went wrong. Day 50 is pretty early for a "new cutter" though. The earliest I cut is day 52 and you just have to keep them clean and hydrated. Also, I have cut through veins without having issues.

Sorry for your loss though. Did you pull them out of the eggs to see if there were any other issues?

Sorry that you lost your newborns. I have no experience in cutting eggs nor would I even try, but that's because I probably would mess up.

They don't absorb the yoke until they have been breathing for a day or two, at least that's what I have always experienced when I cut.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. That really stings! We generally do not cut until at least one or two pip on their own. Hang in there! Good luck!
