What's better than finding a puma in an egg?
Finding two pumas in an egg! I just thought this was too cool not to share. This is my first set of twins and I'm very excited about it.

Thanks everyone! Out of six eggs, this was the only puma egg, so I'm totally stoked that it's the one that had twins.

I had the female yb that laid this clutch with my 2012 ghi male in addition to the spark and didn't get any ghis. I was a bit bummed about this clutch, but twin pumas really does make up for that. :)

I did not know until this afternoon. I cut the clutch several days ago. I leave them alone for the most part when they are still in their eggs, so I had no idea. It was a very nice surprise. :)

I bet it was. I didn't know if you had maybe candled them or not. Well either way man that's a great surprise.

I can't make out anything when I candle, other than veins, so I don't bother with it other than checking them after being laid. Maybe I need a stronger flashlight. I do enjoy the surprise you get when seeing them after the eggs are opened up, so I probably won't. :)
