Naming Issue

Normally I do not like "what to name my BP" threads. I suck at naming and usually, a name just comes to me! However, I've had this guy for a few weeks and I'm still referring to him as "Pending" (as in 'name pending'). He's a 2012 lemonblast male. My family thinks he needs a proper name but I can't settle on one! I was going to name him Merlin or Napoleon (for an inside joke with my female Tabitha so I could refer to them as Nappy/Tabs...if you get the joke, kudos to you!). however, neither of those names have stuck. So. Suggestions welcome.

I would stick with pending... It may just be me but that seems like a funny name in itself.

I once had a snake that had "no name" for so long that eventually we just called him Nony, which was short for "no name".

I like Pending, or even Pen.

I think it's a HILARIOUS name. I had a corn snake named FNU (pronounced fa-new) because I couldn't settle on a name. So I started calling her First Name Unknown (FNU) and it stuck. I'm okay with the name "Pending" but my family feels they need something else to call him. I told them I would throw it up on the forums for suggestions. What'll probably end up happening is that he's got two names. I call him "Pending" and my family calls him something else :rolleyes:

I got a bumblebee a couple of weeks ago and she got a name before she even arrived. I think my family is just jealous she got a name before my other new addition

I like pending as well and would stick with that.

Based on color-
grilled cheese
bacon n cheeder
yellow cake
gouda

Well, since you are calling him "pending" right now anyway...why not make it work? Like how about Pendragon (like King Arthur), Pendleton, Pendergrass. That way the nickname that has probably already stuck (Pen) can still be used AND he'll have a real name, too!

I would name him/her Spongy haha.

I thought about telling my family to calling him Pennington because it was close to Pending. I'm currently making a list and will have them pick something xD Poor guy is going to have a complex!
