Black Pastel

Since I don't keep up with all the genetics of the millions of different morphs what would pair good with a Black Pastel until I manage to get two Black Pastels so I could get a Super Black, or I let my girl or guy pair up with another Black pastel.

So what would go good with a Black Pastel and then what about a super black pastel?

Albino, Lesser, Mojave, Leopard, Fire, Hypo and the list goes on!

Your best bet is to browse WOBP to see what all the different Black Pastel Combos look like and find out what you like best.

I'll have to do that, I know I want a Super Black Pastel for sure so after that it'll be a good guess as to what I end up going with.

i like yellow belly black pastels

Big fan of black pastel mojaves. Once I get my super that's next on my list. Love what BPs do to any morph.

albino black pastel are insane, yellowbelly black pastel is also a beautiful snake if your YB has high flames

I am very partial to pewters so I would do the black pastel to a pastel.:gj:

Depends on your budget, but I would pair with a Super Pastel, Lesser or Pastel Lesser.

My two favorites are obviously the Super Black & the Black Pewter Blast, so I'll need to get a Lemon Blast.

I like the Black Pastel & Desert as well but unless I could just pair with a Desert, I wouldn't buy one outright. Now my only thing is finding a Black Pastel female and a Lemon Blast male, though the LB will have to wait unless I get a good deal on one. So if any of you can refer me to anybody who has Black Pastels & Lemon Blast's I'd appreciate it. I checked on KS and wasn't too happy with the ones I found mainly because I don't know any of the people.

When, I get mine it will be from Don Shores at shoresenuffsnakes.com. I met Don at the Repticon Houston show over a year ago, and he is super nice and easy to talk to. He engaged my kids in conversation, to me that is very important. His snakes were clean and he had some beautiful black pastels! His display area was clean you can tell he cares about his animals.

We got both of our black pastels from Don and Sally Shore. GREAT! People to do business with. We couldn't be happier. Both have never missed a meal. I highly recommend going with shorenuffreptiles :)

Yeah, everyone seems to forget about pewters these days. One of the nicest combos out there for black pastels IMHO

I suggest Mike Bell - I got my BP from him and am very pleased. He also helped me pick out a mate for her.

If I had an unlimited budget and could pick just one gene to combine with Black pastel it would still be a toss up between Butter or Coral Glow/Banana.
Some of the multi-genes are just as impressive though. Definitely worth an hour or 2 cruising WoBP morph list.
