Added 2 more little ones to our collection! <3
So my birthday is in a couple days and my boyfriend decided he'd satisfy my desire for some new babes haha. Good man <3 A Mojave who is about 110g and a Lesser who is about 180g. The Mojave has already had a good shed with us (was in blue when we bought "him") and both of them ate f/t rats for us last night. They were sold to us as males, however (because I'm no expert at popping or probing) we will most likely be taking them with us at the end of the month when we get 2 more (a female lemon pastel & a female spider) to see our breeder who will properly sex them for us. For now, they have no names. I absolutely fell in love with the Lesser.

I know, right?! He was the one that got me interested in snakes when we'd caught a couple wild garters while camping last summer. I think he thinks I've gone loco now LOL. My spare time is pretty much all snake orientated haha. I even dream about them!! :rolleye2: Our collection for about 7 months has only been at 2. Jumped to 4 last week and will be jumping to 6 in a week from now haha.

Ive watched countless videos on both ways and know how to do it properly in THEORY, but when I get them in my hands, it's like I'm all thumbs lol. More afraid of hurting them if anything. Definitely going to get her to show us, that's for sure.

I had the same problem and had to switch to Google Chrome or Firefox as a browser. Something about IE for me. If you're using IE, try one of these other two browsers.

Have her demonstrate, and then talk you through a few attempts until you get it right (more than once). Then, just alternate through your "kids" to practice every few days. That way, you aren't stressing any one out all the time, and it definitely takes PRACTICE to get comfortable with it. Good luck!
