They're HERE!!

I was beyond excited when I finally got eggs. I hadn't been expecting them because I was sure I hadn't seen my girl ovy yet, but she laid me 6 beautiful eggs.

This morning, on day 53, they pipped!!!!

Seems to be 2 bumblebees, 1 pastel, and 3 normals.

Also, I wanted to keep the egg that my baby hatched out of. Should I rinse it out or can I just let it dry out?

They tend to get kinda stinky. I suppose if you rinsed it out it may help. :confusd:

I googled and it seems if you rinse them out they should be fine.

Big congrats! :) Very nice babies. This very pairing will be my first ever breeding next (hopefully) year- if my bumblebee boy gets big enough. Not bad odds momma! Can't wait to see them all out. How much does your male weigh, out of curiosity? He's a looker.

And yes you can rinse the eggs and then let hem air dry and they won't smell or anything - I used to have a full jar of them. ;)

Haven't sexed them. Was going to take them to my friends to get him to do it as I'm not the greatest at sexing yet.

Im going on day 35............ UGH......... its driving me NUTS... first clutch... had issues... but so far they are looking sooooooooooo much better......... again.. wait wait wait.... hahahaha :rolleye2:
