Meet ROCKY Bal BOA

Here is ROCKY my new baby RedTail BOA. I got him from a local breeder. Rocky was born on 5-19-04 along with 28 of his brothers and sisters.

He seems to enjoy his 66QT Rubbermaid enclosure, a temporary home until his new Boaphile cage arrives.

This one is my favorite! Looks like he is climbing into the camera lense.

Awww- he is adorable! I hope to have a BCI soon.. found a breeder thats got some pinks that I really like.

That hide is really cool. Where did you get it?

Thanks he is lots of fun. I got the fake stump hide at Petsmart. It was one of two left on clearance. Check with your local Petsmart to see if they have one. It was marked down from 18.99 to 14.99
Of course he will outgrow it soon then it wil become property of the ball python perhaps. I wish they made a larger version.

I have that exact same hide in Caesar's tank....it's really cool to see them crawling through the different holes.

oh, and they DO make a larger version, i wanted it, but it costs 50$!!!


but the bigger one is big enough to last your BCI when he gets bigger for a little while longer, he might outgrow it after a while though

DeBacker, nice snake!! I love the name too. You probably already know this, but make sure you thoroughly clean and disinfect the hide before you give it to your bp. Don't want to pass anything like IBD along to it.
