Orange dream? Pastel? Super pastel? Other? Help!
    Hi all,

I'm a newbie to the BP world and trying to figure out what morph mine is. Place I got him from said pastel, then after closer inspection said he may be a super pastel, then as i'm trolling through the forums I wonder if he might not be a orange dream? Or if I'm WAY off and he's something completely different.. I've posted a couple pictures for reference.

Like I said I'm pretty new and still have a hard time figuring out the differences. :D Thanks!

^^ When I first got him about a month ago. Truthfully, I uploaded this one to Instagram and used a filter. Don't have the original image. SO he's not that bright but you get the idea.

^^ Right before going opaque.. you can see how his belly is kinda pink. Same room as the below pic, but different lighting.

^^ First day of eyes clearing up after being opaque. Due for a shed

I don't know anything about orange dreams. But it doesn't have the blushing for a super pastel. And I'm not really sure if it even has blushing for a pastel. With these pictures I'd just say normal. If you can get more color accurate pictures and belly pics. I could tell a lot better.

Can you get a plain pic of him, in plain natural light now that he's out of shed. I think I see pastel but the pic you have of him after shed looks like it has some kind of filter on, making him look overly bronze-ish.

No problem, thanks for the help! I'll get some other pictures tomorrow. Belly is totally white, besides a speck or two of black (size of a mite but NAWT a mite :colbert:) If that helps in the meantime?

Its a pastel that has browned out, nothing more. Not all pastels have lots of blushing.

Well he still hasn't shed yet, his eyes just cleared up today. The last pic is no filter, but my room isn't super bright. The only one that's filtered is the first. I'll get better pics once he's completely done

Yep, that is a pastel. An older pastel, that has lost the baby yellow. Not a bad one all things considered. No super pastel there, certainly not an OD.

I think we pretty much all think our snakes are something awesome when we first get started. I know I did. My first pet store baby ball was a cinnamon enchi desert. At least, it was until I started really looking at pictures of different morphs and then went to a few shows and saw some in person. Then it was pretty easy to admit my one of a kind baby was a pretty average normal. But the learning sure was fun!!

I see a very browned out pastel. Definitely not anything else, except possibly a light normal

Welcome to BP.net. I prefer the term 'wild type' instead of normal. Normal always sounds so boring. Could be a pastel though a rather dark one. Make sure you get new pics up after it sheds.

Thanks everyone. Just came home on lunch from work and I discovered him in the act of shedding.. Along with lots of poop and pee and paper towels everywhere LOL. I'll take more tomorrow once he's completely finished ;)

I agree deffinately a pastel. Not too bad looking, clearly a little older. Considering his age I would rate him a 6.5-7/10 haha no super pastel though, sorry. But a very nice looking boy, and he looks considerably healthy. Congrats! :)

I wonder if the OP forgot about this thread.
I'm not seeing a pastel, but I would need better pics to tell.

I'm seeing a Normal. If it is a Pastel, it's very browned out.
