All curled up with his hide as a pillow

    Yawning after a nice meal.

Does he do that alot Gen? Sit on the back side of his hide alot I mean?
Bob has been doing that alot lately his hot hide is the upside down plastic flower pot and he doesn't sit in it but around the back of it against the glass. He's such a goofball.

Norbert looks great and I love the yawn shot.

He does do that once in a while, not a whole lot though, that's why I wanted to take a picture of it. Thanks for the compliments, guys.

I notice Amber laying in placed outside of her hides at night time. I would think that it is just a sign that they are comfortable with their surroundings and don't feel threatened- a great situation considering how scared they are of basically everything that moves.

My guy used to go against the glass but I lowered my temps and now he seems much happier and has been more relaxed...

My temps WERE at: 90-95 on hot side and 80-85 on non heated side

My temps ARE currently: 88-93 on warm side and 78-85 on cooler side.. just something to try my guy likes it cooler but I know my buddies BP likes it at about nintey four on hot and at LEAST eighty on cool.

    Re: Holy crap....
Just curious... my pictures never seem to come out very well on my Nikon Coolpix 4500. If I try to get really close up, it comes out all blurry. If I take it from further back, the picture includes too much other stuff. However, the resolution is very high so perhaps I should just take pictures farther back and then only cut out part of it, so that I can still keep the resolution fairly high and have it focused on a small enough area. Does everyone edit their photos like this? Or do all your pictures just come out fine automatically? If so, are you using auto or manual focus?

Sorry to hijack the thread, I'd just like my pictures to come out half as nice as those ones ;P

hhw....that's part of the miracle of digital pictures! Take your pics and then crop out all the junk! LOL This works especially well with high rez cameras because you can take a picture from farther away, then crop out all the extra stuff and look like you took a much closer picture than you actually did.

My digital camera has a macro function for closeups that keeps them really clear. I forgot to turn it on for the yawning pic, that's why his head is kinda blury.
