    Is this an Axanthic?
I just traded my 500g male pastel for this 1900g female. She looks like my VPI male but darker. Opinions please!

I'm no axanthic expert and know some can brown out, but i see a normal personally.

Here she is next to a 2000g normal female.

Still looks pretty normal in terms of color... Did you purchase her as an axanthic?

No. She was rescued 3 years ago by my cousin. No idea of her genetics. She was just a pet.

Well, she looks very normal, so I would assume she is a normal.

My VPI male is browner than her. Would it be worth it to try & prove her out?

Take a comparison shot of your male next to her. she looks normal to me. If you have some time on your hand try proving her out. It is always worth it if you hit a clutch of axanthics.

She looks totally normal to me too. Some axanthics end up pretty crappy as adults, but I would like to see a comparison shot as well.
