    Blue Ghost
Saw this video pop up in a facebook group and wondered if anyone else has seen anything like it. It is Mark Petros' "Blue Ghost" and is apparently not an axanthic combo, but a whole new mutation that sprung out of a clutch he hatched.

After further research I found it has been covered by The Reptile Report Mar 22, 2012

Direct link to the Bush League thread

The video makes the thing look unreal... I for one hope it is a reproducible trait, but I guess we won't find out for a few years still.

I just wish he hadn't given it the same name as an existing morph - especially one I've been trying to find for years.

Beautiful as it is I'm sick of seeing it while trying to find the original line of hypos called blue ghosts. :taz:

    Oh my goodness.
    That's really smokin!!!!!!!! :tongue2:

They should call it the "True Blue" morph.
It just looks like a normal, but with the grey (blue) coloration instead of the brown.

That's insane.. I hope it proves genetic (and looks decent with age). I'd personally call it 'Blue Smoke' or something if a Blue Ghost already exists.

I believe this will be genetic. It more than likely is a double recessive, one obviously being orange ghost which was in the pairing.. I'd guess either stacked two different ghost lines, or a new axanthic line with the orange ghost that was already in the pairing. Nothing about this makes me think it was a fluke. It looks amazing!

I think "Cobalt" would be a good name.

Anyone hear anything on this project?
I search around every now and then but nothing has popped up yet.

I really want this to be genetic  :bow:

That is a beautiful snake and OMG I want one. Though I agree with one of the other posts that I wouldn't be able to afford it for like another 10 years. Well maybe if everybody rushed and got one and produced it I could probably hit it in 5?

Regardless that's a sick looking snake. I would of personally named it Blue Demon. That morph with that name just sounds wicked.

I'm pretty sure Garrick hatched something similiar (or at least he was calling it the same thing) and showed it in his most recent video.

    This guy?

    https://youtu.be/KjHjXG6n0Gs?t=844

Doesn't quite seem as blue, but I like the almost axanthic look without the gene hanging around in there.

    Re: Blue Ghost
Yea i see how this blue ghost can actually just be a weird variation or even just how the ghost reacted with the other morph but the one in garricks video doesn't look as grey/blue as marks but it can also be the lighting garrick used

If it is recessive it might take a few more years to really get an answer.

    Re: Blue Ghost
He most likely abandoned the project for now as he should have proved it out 2015 late or sometime this year but he hasn't said anything since he paired her back to the dad and then that was the last I heard but 2 years after that post I sent him a message asking about it and what's going on or did he give up and it's been just over a year with no answer but if you guys want to try send him a message on Fb and ask or even email he is bound to reply or do an update with lots of people wanting to know

It is lol its just a funky orange ghost/hypo as garrick made one simular to this darker Gary one from some ghosts so I think a line of ghost tosses weird random babies now that's just my opinion and more people would need to come fourth
