    I hate glue traps
I'm delivering newspapers right now. I found two small garter snakes stuck to a glue trap in one of my apartment complexes. Both are still alive so I'm taking them home to try to free them. I'm going to try to soak the trap in water to dilute the strength of the glue holding them and hope they can get off.

Careful with them. Glue + scales = bad news bears. You can pull off many scales if you aren't careful then the snakes will need more treatment if they are guna live. Also if you are bringing them inside, keep them as far away from your collection as possible. Wild snakes can carry diseases and what not so just be careful bro. Good luck.

The heat in my car is helping a lot. They won't be going in my house. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/06/02/4upunabe.jpg

Both were moving and flicking their tongues a lot so they should survive I let them go in a wooded area.

You are amazing. Why can't people just use snaptraps.... glue traps are terrible. At least it wasn't the kind with all that goop in it.

Way to go. Its good that they did not suffer and die of starvation or murder. Good job getting them off the trap.

I have read/seen tht cooking oil really helps with removal from glue boards as well

At the pet shop where I breed my mice, we found a canary that had gotten stuck in a glue board. Cooking oil was applied, and it was able to be pulled off in minutes.
