    Is it worth it?
I recently was offered a female Super Pastel pushing 1000g for $300. She has never been breed but should be ready for next years season. The questions is, is she worth it? Shes really pretty and it would be good to have another female ready for next year but, pastels, are they worth it? It seems like they're at the low end of the morph price range. How much would you be willing to pay for a super pastel?
    Donno yet. Thoughts?

Post a pic and ill tell you. My instinct would be to say "yes" but it depends on her quality really.

I would say yes but also quality is important. $300 for a near breeding size super pastel female sounds like a great deal. Bred to anything and you will never get any normal babies. But lets see a pic

$300 for a girl that size is really cheap. Male hatchlings were that price a year or so ago.
If she were male, I would pass. But as a female, that's a great breeding investment. And plus she won't throw normal hatchlings.

Make sure she doesn't have special needs (ASFs only, frequently going off feed, RIs) but if everything seems good, go for it! I've seen breeder wild-type females go for $300. I think my male super pastel was $250 as a hatchling, so the price seems fair- and she's pretty bright in that picture.

I'd pay $300 for her. Shes not the nicest ive ever seen, but id give her a decent rating. Certainly worth breeding. :gj:

I would like to see better pic too but if she is a super AND a SHE I would have a hard time passing her up.

That head looks blushed to me. Maybe thats shed skin tho? Idk, maybe i need new glasses lol. Even if shes only a pastel, shes worth $300. As long as its a female.

Get a pic of it eating where the guy writes the current date on a piece of paper and holds it in the pic.

    Check the gender.

Listen to it breathe and check around the mouth.

Check the little crevice under the chin for mites.

If it passes all of those tests, buy it!

So he send a slightly better photo. We'll see this weekend when I go see her for myself. She looks super bright and nicely blushed aside from the bad shed.
