some unreal ball pythons! peter kahl's breeding facility

What was the big hurry? You can hardly see any snakes you were going so fast.

What do you get if people mention the video?

Sorry, way too fast and out of focus to boot. To me at least, this is not s good way to show a collection.

Seems to me Pete went out of the room for a minute and you rushed to pull out as many tubs as you could before he came back....lol

Wow, that was fast and dizzying, couldn't hardly see anything, were those snakes? lol. Definitely not a good way to show anything off, agree with all above comments.

Yeah, pretty sketchy. And one post? Did you make an account just to get a few promo points? Sorry, really not a good showmanship of a doubtless pretty intense collection, if you ask me. You'd have gotten better footage if you'd been authorized, is my guess.

You can hear a number of kids messing in the background, too. If I had a collection like that I definitely wouldn't let my kid and their friends mess around in the snake room.

Does Pete Kahl have an account here? It's possible he would want to know about it.


TATTLE TIME!

The kids in the background an the way it was shot had me wondering if this was done wit the breeders knowing it. Wanted to see what the op would say about it, but kinda seems like something I would have done as a kid when around something cool and the owner has gone away for a min. O an I was let's say a handful lol

Makes me wonder, then, why OP's asking for self-references back to the breeder. "...mention you saw AJ's video" etc. It's honestly not a great show of his collection, although I'm certain he has some impressive snakes, with a collection that size. Curious as to what's actually happening here, as it certainly doesn't seem like an authorized display, but you'd think OP wouldn't want Pete knowing about it in that case.

I doubt this was taken without peters knowledge. He wouldn't be telling you to tell peter about his video.....

Anyways, pretty shaky video, very fast paced. Really hard to take in anything. Thanks for an attempt at showcasing some of his stuff though.

I would expect at 23 you would have the brains to know making videos on your uncles behalf and then making the following comments could really hurt his business. I don't know your uncle nor have I heard of him. Now thanks to you I have but it came with a bad after taste. Way to go.

I think if that was my uncle I would have more than one snake.

Uhm im 16 not 23 but I was down there by myself apart from his son ('little kids") taking the video not for the realshowing of them but just the amount of the beautiful snakes. He wants to start a webseries up where where more publicity is generated and to show off some beautiful individuals like the cast and his new puma as well as some other kahl spinoffs but really I do appreciate all the pointless criticism thanks :)

Well, I hope if you take anything away from this, it's the fact that this isn't the way to do it. The response comment on your Youtube page was entirely inappropriate and the wrong way to go about encouraging a strong customer service base. I wish your uncle the best of luck with his webseries.

Well I haven't handled all of the negative comments the best way possible il give you but what can I say? Im being critiqued on something im not trying for. And I said he has beautiful animals not im showing his beautiful animals in this video.

But yeah most of you are right I completely rushed thru it without giving justice to the beauty of the snakes, I had to keep it under 3 minutes or else I wouldn't be able to send it to my friends, so I have had this account for a little bit before the post and just looked thru the forum a bit but never posted, I had to do the first 2 posts before im able to upload an attachment hence the youtube video because I could only do urls. Not to become the next snakebytez tv feature lol. I think some people have the wrong impression of me because im 16 and don't take hateful comments as well as the next person so I fling it right back so sorry if I have offended any one :\

The joys of being young haha, welcome to the site little late I know. Look forward to seeing some longer vids your uncle seems to have a nice collection. N knowing the circumstances more on the vid kinda understand why you filmed it that way an I admit I jumped to conclusions fast my self, gotta bad habit of it but anyhow good luck on future projects!

Just a thought, next time your on a time limit maybe try a wide shot of the racks and then pick a few choice examples to highlight. Much better imo, than rushing the vid. And welcome to the forum.

Next time try to use a camera with a tripod for a steady shot. Put the snakes you want to display in tubs right next to each other or have someone else helping you. They can hand you the snake and you can put it on the table, zoom in, whatever, and then take it away for the next one. That will really help us check out the whole pattern and see them in full light, etc.

I know I'm late here, but you said you think the people here got the wrong impression of you because you're 16? I'm fourteen, I'll be 15 in November. I will admit when I first joined last year, at age 13, I showed my behind a bit and I made mistakes here, and I've overcome that fault that I made. No matter your age, if you respect people, they will hopeully respect you back, at least that's what they should do.
