I'm backkkk..

Hey guys,

It's been about 6 months I left you guys on some sad notes but I am back with some good news haha.

When I left I was anticipating being laid off, I had serious issues with an escaped ASF colony in my apartment, and since then me and my common law wife have spit so it's been a trying year so far. My plan was to leave the reptile world but... I'm back, I got involved with Union and my job looks secure. I solved my ASF problem, although I got spooked and sold my entire breeding project. And I have two clutches cooking right now, one is piping already (so exciting). I will have updates on those in the appropriate forums.

Anyways I just wanted to say hello again. Looking forward to being more regular than I have been, I've missed you guys :)

Welcome back! Sounds like things are looking up for you. And I don't blame you for getting out of ASFs. I had some escapees and they were destroying my house. I will not have ASFs in my house ever again.

Oh my gosh they are awful! I've had plenty of lose rats and they generally stay really close to the racks, maybe venture into the next room in the basement. The ASFs, they were all over my danged house! I had some upstairs in my kitchen drawer chewing up all my spoons/spatulas. I don't even know how they managed to get up and in the drawer! I was beyond pissed to say the least and they were super hard to catch!

Yeah, ASF's are awful, they chew much more than norways do! I had two chew outs. And they have SOOO many babies haha.

They smelt awful, compared to when I was breeding Norways.

I agree about the smell too! A lot of ASF lovers think I'm crazy when I say they smell worse than Norways!
