Update on some of my herp art

Hey everyone, its been a while. Lots has happened in life over the past little while, nothing new collection wise but I have gotten back into my polymer clay art, I never posted much on here but since I feel like i've gotten alot better I thought I would share, so heres some of my newer stuff!!

This Carpet is one of my favorite pieces, hoping it doesn't ever sell so I can keep it!

After making things for other people for so long I sat down to make this BRB for myself, roughly 2 hours later and I had this awesome beastie

I think the one clay related thing I posted on this site was my eyelash viper light switch cover, its still up in my living room and for the longest time I would look at it thinking "I can do better" last week I finally decided to try and see what I could do better and I got this, not to shabby if I say so myself!

Thanks Doolittle, your right about that, I'm hopefully changing brands soon to allowed for more detail, I'm finding it's getting to soft for me to do what I want with it.

That gecko is super cute. Such creativity!

Makes me think I should try to play with clay. Doubt they'd look this good though!

Thank you :) honestly just give it a shot, I just picked it up one day too, it's been little over a year now and it's awesome to look back and see how far I've come.

OMG those are AWESOME!!!!! Do you think you could do a cell phone cover??? I mean, Idk how you would do one, but Id totally order one! I haven't found a snake case for my phone yet! And that gecko is awesome too! You did a great job on him!! Any BPs yet too? Please post pics of those as well!

Thank you very much :oops: I never thought of doing cell phone covers but I will look into it for sure and if I find a way to do it I will let you know!!! I can't wait to make more geckos! I've only done one bp (I'm terrible :[ ) it was a pastel and it came out really well, I sold it at an expo I did last year, I have always found bps intimidating, its hard to really get that pattern done, at least for me.

Thank you, you really should dig it out, i've been at this for a year and I haven't even looked let alone scratched the surface of what can be done with polymer clay!

Thank you both M&H and Slitherinsisters :D!!! I'm so glad everyone like it, I've been trying to expand and add some more things so everyone can find something they like!!!

I actually just added something new that I have been trying to incorporate for awhile, it was to expensive to buy so I decided to try making my own so this allows so much customization!

Can't wait to get some pieces made with this stuff!! I can make a wide mixture of colors and shapes and plan to incorporate them into as much of my stuff as possible, be it earrings, pendants or just jewels. I'm super super excited!!
