So nervous, hope I'm making the right decision
Well never thought I'd pay 900.oo for a snale or any other animal, but I guess I'm taking the plunge. Jigsaw blast male to try my hand at breeding with bumble bee and lesser females.

Heh,
I remember that feeling of panic when I paid just under £800 for my little lesser boy.
I was like a cat on a hot tin roof until he was safely in the QT tub digesting his first meal.
-
Wowee! :) I think the most we have spent so far was $500 on one and that made me sick for a while, lol.
-
I know the feeling! I just spent $900.00 on two animals and while waiting for shipping, every noise made me jump out of my chair. It was a HUGE investment for me so I understand the stress.

I didn't really shake my head when I made my first "big" purchase. :/ Ahaha I think that's kind of a bad thing.
$1400.

Well, I struggled with the notion of spending $250 on my super pastel/pastel last week so I feel your pain (on a different level, of course). Having said that, I saw the photo if the jigsaw blast you posted the other day. Very cool looking snake! I can't wait to see more photos when you get him.

Re: So nervous, hope I'm making the right decision
With our first "high end" purchase I was so sure he was perfect that I didn't bat than eyelash. I researched and shopped for the perfect example for 3 months though lol. This was around $1500 for a super pastel butter. I actually got him much cheaper, $1050 but I was prepared to pay the full amount.

First $5k+ high end purchase was about a week ago... it has honestly been the most relaxed purchase to date for us. Spend enough money with the right person and you will get the finest quality available, guaranteed. Big purchases are the most relaxing. It's the little ones that bite you. haha... no pun intended.

Re: So nervous, hope I'm making the right decision
the most I have spent on a snake was $275 for my black pastel female 66% het. albino didn't hurt me one bit. im thinking of making payments for a female black pastel het.pied or a female pied still can't decide

That's a great deal, I should have you negotiate for me. :) I only went from 895 to 849. I couldn't find much in terms of an apple to apple comparison, but from what I saw I think I'm getting good value. I did see some male super blasts for 500-550, but imo you're not really getting 3 separate genes there like you are with the jigsaw blast so it made sense, to me at least, there would be a price difference.
My real anxiety is that instead of getting two normals and trying to breed and see how everything goes I'm kinda jumping into the deep end of the pool, or at least a ways up from the kiddie pool. lol But what's life without a little anxiety.

I don't really freak about the money I spend on snakes because it is always well spent and carefully decided, non my husband on the other end probably would be in shock if he knew how much I have spent on a single animal.

Don't ask questions you don't want the answer to right? lol

Now that you spent that much on 1 snake, watch how easy it is the next time around to spend double that.
Welcome to the addiction - you're in a judgement free zone here bud.

This is true.
Wait till you spend over 3K on a single gene... I have done that twice in the last few months.

I don't think my budget or conscience would ever allow that lol but you never know. That would have to be one impressive gene :).
