    Spotnose? or More?
    This boy is pictured next to his sister from the same clutch. He's much darker...... Do you think there is another gene at play here?

    I have a dark spotnose and a light spotnose, they both looks like normal spotnoses to me.

    So it could just be a difference within the mutation.

    That's my guess. Spotnoses are still pretty new to the game so I suppose time will tell. I have noticed the dark spotnoses have funky patterns and the light spotnoses tend to have that stripe down their back. I've always found that strange...

    WOW! I think I just fell in love with the spotnose gene, very cool looking guy you have there, can't wait to see his babies.

    Yeah there is definitely variation among Spotnoses, and I believe there are a few bloodlines floating around now.

    To the OP, I'm curious if your dark spotnose changes as much as mine did color wise. He seems a lot lighter
