Another new logo

I've been thinking about my logo for quite a while and jinx's recent post finally spurred me into action. I even used the same guy because I have no shame ;) http://www.logoglo.com/

What do you guys think? What do you think about the colors? Vote for your favorite! The first one is the original and I altered it to get the others.

First one

I like the second pic. I would definitely go with green/blue. Those colors remind me of CO much more than the bright red/brownish color scheme. I'd say my favorite is the 4th or 5th one. The 6th one in white is nice too, reminds me of snow.

EDIT: idk it was a poll. I'll go on the comp later to vote lol

I like the last one. Its simple straight to the point and also has a clean look

I like the 5th one best. Was scrolling down the list thinking, "Meh, eh, eh, eh, YES!" LOL Positive feelings the moment I saw it and really made me miss Colorado Springs. Can't say exactly why I like that one above the others, but there wasn't any doubt.

I like 4 but I think that 6 has the cleanest look which is what you want in a logo.

I like 4 or 5. Can't vote on tapatalk though.

I would go with number 1 or the last one. The reason is the background that you will be using. My original logo was really cool by itself, but when I put it on different things (like business cards, banners, shirts) it didn't pop. So, I had it redone so that it went well on different backgrounds and was easy to read. Given that, the first one puts color in the snake, so it would go well with most backgrounds (the middle ones would not look good on a white background because the snake would be washed out) and the last one would do well on anything except white, but even white would be fine because it is all b & w. That is my 2 cents. What is really important is what YOU like.

4 or 5th one. I like the white snake better and I think the blue or green font go better.

Would it be possible for the graphic artist to put any color or pattern on the snake? Maybe some yellow/black (or whatever morph you work with) to help with the possible "wash-out" effect that Don mentioned.

I like #4. The last one has just a bit too much "pop". But #4 has just the right amount.

I appreciate everyone's input! We're going to go with the last one. I personally prefer to have more color in the logo, but the people (and my wife) have spoken! And anyway I can always change it later ;)

Bro you should definitely crest the tops of the mountains with snow! Just an idea.

Yeah if you put snow on the mountains then go with a different morph than Lucy. Maybe Spider or Clown?

Also I would ask for TWO versions, one optimized for light backgrounds and one for dark backgrounds. Also make sure you get a B&W version for stationary and invoices and whatnot. Just good to have incase you need it.

So far looks darn good!
