    measured the snakeys again today and here are my results...
    June 07, 2004

    BP's-
    Peanut (02 female)- 40 inches, 3.333 ft
    Bubba (2000 male)- 44 inches, 3.666 ft
    Baby (03 unsexed)- 27 inches, 2.250 ft



    Smoke (male 03 bci) - 41 inches, 3.421 ft



    Paco (male 03 cali king) - 20 inches, 1.666 ft

    By the way, what does everyone here use to measure their snakes? A piece of string and a ruler or something more elaborate?

    there is a program, used to be in the downloads section but the link doesnt work anymore. run a google search on a program called "snake measurer". you take a photo of something with a known length beside your snake from a top view, and snake measurer lets you calculate the length even if the snake isn't stretched out straight.

    Im going to have to check out snake measurer. Thats a dang good idea. Post some pics of your cali king too, i dont think a lot of people on this site have kings...

    Well, I measured Ippo to be 22.5 inches with Snake Measurer.

    Hrrm... I don't think I have anything myself that I could weigh him with...

    I think I saw some decent digi's for cheap at Costco last time I was there... something to pickup next time.

    Yeah - we saw a decent digi at WalMart for $30 in the cooking section - but Smynx was able to appropriate an old mailing scale from her office - not sure what it max's out at though.
