    Farmed babies
I bought these as "farmed African balls" who were apparently captive born. I wanted to get some opinions on what morph they could be. They're really too light in my opinion to be normals and some of them have an orange-y tint to them, especially in the lower half down near they're belly. My boyfriend thought maybe fire and someone else I know that also bought some from the same guy thinks maybe they're pastels. I have pastels and I don't think that's what they are. Anyone have any ideas? It was sprinkling out today so I'm in the shade in these pics but I also took some inside to try and get more light. I'll take some better ones tomorrow when I get a chance.

Very pretty normals with maybe something going on in their gene pool, I'd say. Some Granite traits in there, definitely. They are toeing the Granite line. Specifically that third pic.

Personally, I'm not seeing anything extraordinary. Pretty standard normals to me...

I see normals too. But the third one sure is pretty. I like reduced alien heads on normals!

That's some nice graniting on the second baby but yes, they're all really nice.

They're very nice, but they look like all the other farmed babies I've seen over the years...

Yeah, they probably are. Still, nice to have some fresh genes to work with when they're ready. I doubt they'll keep that nice orange/yellow color with the blushing but it would be nice if they would :).

Hey look! Someone that thinks that their ball pythons look different and must be a morph, if not a NEW morph. Then, when told that they look like normals they post different pictures and ask again.

In my opinion they are beautiful babies, and whether or not they are normal will have to be proven by a few breedings. I will say that they look normal however I think that granites and sables look like normals to my untrained eye. Do some breeding trials and find out, and best of luck!

Well, if you look back at my first post, I did say that I was going to take pics in natural sunlight when I got a chance, but it's been rainy here the past few days and I had to take some pictures of a different snake of mine anyway so I already had the camera out. Also, in my updated pictures, I didn't ask again and simply said I was posting updated pics... so no need to be rude . Like I said, I'm fine with them even if they're normals. I got them for really cheap and I still appreciate that I'll have new genes to work with. ;)

It would be cool to revisit this thread a few years from now and find out you hatched out some crazy new morph and proved us wrong. :D

    Good luck with them. :gj:

Are Inarikins and I the only ones on the graniting train for baby#2? Hahah

Well yeah, I see the graniting in them but graniting does not make a morph. Plenty of normals have that trait but only like a handful of those ever turn out to be genetic and this is like a handful out of a million snakes.

Wasn't being rude, just joking really. :p Like I said, breed them and find out! Good luck to ya.
