sometimes i just hate worldofballpythons. I expected these to show up when i use advanced search to find all morphs containing GHI. But WOBP is programmed in such a way that super GHI doesnt contain the GHI-gene. Anyway they look nice, and i still stand by it: go for super GHI :)

I think all super forms are considered different from the base morph in WOBP, which makes it easier to select combos :)

Thanks for the kind words everybody! I am STOKED about this! She is a 2012 GHI and hoping she could be a 2014/15 breeder. He hasnt given me an exact weight but said she has been on small rats for about a month so shes got a little size to her.

If things go the way I hope she will get a male butter calico but thats if I hit one in the 2013/14 season when I pair my butter to my calico. :D If I dont have a butter calico then I will put my butter to her. Thats plan as of now but plans always change so we will have to see when the time comes. :gj:

Thats the only bad thing about this hobby is I catch myself wishing time away you know it's like I cant wait for this to start breeding, I cant wait for eggs, I cant wait for them to hatch! Lol. I am really looking forward to the future pairings I have and the projects I am planning on. I am just trying to appreciate every aspect of this hobby and just kinda roll with it and learn from each experience!

I've never seen a hobby where people picked it up and just dove right in with massive amounts of disposable income. Maybe it is the potential for making money that makes it so easy to make huge money decisions? If I had the kind of disposable income people 'invest' on a single snake I'd take a month off and go live like literal royalty in Indonesia in a palace on stilts in the middle of a coral reef in tropical paradise with my girlfriend.

That's not a stab at you or anyone who goes deep in the hobby rapidly... but DAMN! I've never seen a hobby where people go so quickly from entry level with a single pet for fun to 'investing' 10k+ in animals.

Turning a profit breeding snakes isn't all fun and games or free money. I wonder how many collections get sold with the owner hugely in the red or in terrible credit card debt.

Yes I'm aware all of the previous except the first line makes me seem like a huge hater. I'm really just jealous. Congrats again!

Yeah I don't mean to isolate you Andy - it's a pattern I'm personally guilty of myself a bit. I'm just shocked when I see others fall into it to a much larger degree. For kicks, you can go look at people's accounts and see their 'recent started posts' that date back to when they first join the site and watch how the involvement in the hobby or the 'just one more snake' limit changes. Again, this is something you could do with me too so please don't anyone take it personally.

Yeah I totally get what you are saying. GHI is easily tied for first on my favorites list and I have a lot I want to do with this gene. If I had no overhead I still couldnt think of a better way to spend money than on snakes. I love this hobby and I aint goin anywhere! :D
