Wow what can I say about this guy? I mean I know you guys think I impulse bought this little dude but I have done extensive research in the past cause I wanted one. Now I have him.

he sure makes me wish that we could have caimens here, and i have no problem with him, i just think your gonna end up over your head with reptileswith mrore than you can handle, especially in colege

I think he is pretty cute.
He will be very demanding but, as long as your willing to invest all the time and money he will need to stay happy, I think you will be a good keeper.

I'm guessing 5 ft. would be a BIG dwarf Caiman. In this species the male is larger than female (unlike most snakes) and males are said to reach about four and a half feet. :)

Species Adult size(male) 4.2 - 5.2 ft ( 1.3 - 1.6 m)
Adult size (female) 3.5 - 4 ft (1.1 - 1.2 m)

well, I wouldn't get too hasty there Marco haha. Check out the above links. Some places you do need a permit, some places do not permit it at all, and some places you can do whatever you want it all depends on your area- others on this forum know of good sites to check local laws regarding pets. :)

Caimens are straight up cute little guys. All crocodilians are until they grow up.
