I took better pics of her. I am nuts about her, and will be considering what to breed her to in the future. :D

    These eyes have me.

Would you believe that I used the top of my chest-freezer for a backdrop? Works great!

I am going to leave this little girl alone for settling in.. but it's going to be tough!

Any ideas for a boyfriend for her in the $300-400 range? Thinking dominant or codominant, or double gene, possibly; not recessive. Ideas:

black pewter.. try for pinstripe silver streaks (really pretty to me)
bumblebee .. go for killer blasts..
pinstripe, and go for super pin pastels..

I may spend a little less on a Spider, and go for spinner blasts.. not sure at this point. I would like to consider a lot of options before deciding.

Great ideas! A super pastel mojave could be neat, as well as a mojave super blast, to work for.

Go for a rarer combo IMO.

How about a Pastel Spotnose male...

gorgeous girl. I'd go with anything with calico and or enchi in it.
    good luck

The spotnose lemon blasts do not look much different to me than regular LB; unless I am missing something or they can be used for a further combo. I have always liked spotnoses, though. Calico lemon blasts are interesting..

Thanks for all of the ideas!

The lemonblast clown is spectacular. I'd get a clown male :gj:.

    OR OR OR!!!! OR you can find a firefly, or fire combo male to pair her with... Fire combos are still pretty pricey, so pick a good one... Maybe get a fire het hypo male. The hypo seems to lighten morph :gj:.. The dragonfly is so good...... I need one ;_;

Mm; I love those lemonblast clowns! It'd be awhile because I would have to create hets, though. Clowns are a little pricey for me, but I have always wanted one.

Well you got at least a year to make up your mind, since she won't be ready to breed for a while :gj:. Clown prices will drop and you have more time to save! Surely a clown male will be within reach! You could spend that $300-400 on a pair of het clown females, then start saving for that male clown ..

How about this idea? I am thinking of getting a male Spider, and using that to create spinners.. then, breed a spinner to a butter to get a butter spinner, which I love.

Does it seem worth it? If it'd be more worthwhile to save up for a year and get something more complex than just a spider, I could do that. I really like the butter spinners, though.

Actually, I should get a Spinner. I could get a super pin bumblebee and also some spinner blasts! I think that I have made my decision.

heck, at $300-$400, you can already get a lesserbee male! Lesserbee x Lemonblast = pastel lesser/butter spinner :gj::gj:

That's a good goal btw, I love butter spinners

That's true! I am also really captivated by the pewter blasts. Maybe a cinny? I could even get 1.1 cinny, and try for super cinnies at the same time; I love those too. Although I have been more into brighter snakes as of late, and could probably just scrap that idea. Arg!

    Decisions, decisions!

Personally I really like bumble bee's, there's something about the bright yellow contrasting against the black that I love. I'd go for one of those, it would definitely make an awesome diversity in hatchlings too (only a 6% chance of making a normal). Its too bad that a spied is all white, otherwise I would already have invested in one that is het pied :P. Maybe I'll do an albino project with one...

Thanks! My digital camera is just an older Fuji with a broken screen. So it means a lot that the shots look good to ya.. must be my mad photography skills! (lol)

I do love the BBee contrast. And I have always wanted a Bee. It is almost like, since I had a pin, pastel, and spiders years ago.. that I am catching up on what I could have had if I did not sell them off. :) I like the greater morph-to-normal odds, too.

That is what makes it such a tough decision! LOL. The BBee is the most compelling choice so far. :)

How about a male Firefly for your girl?

You stand a chance of getting...
    Fireflys
    Superflys
    Superblasts
    Dragonflys
Killer Dragonflys... to name but a few

Would you guys think that I am nuts if I go with a Spider male? I can get one at a pretty good price now that is breedable (I know; way to soon; lol.) But I miss having a Spider, and it will be a snake that I will enjoy irregardless of what it produces. And of course, if I do hit some lemon blasts and bumblebees, I could have my cake and eat it too for owning a bumblebee. I know that it won't necessarily produce anything hugely $$ valued per se, but I figure that by having another spidey around, I will be happy in that alone. The spider is being sold by a local guy who knows his stuff, and is completely reduced-patterned, reminding me of my old spider that I am nostalgic for, too.

If you wan't the spider, get him. I'd still save an get at least a 2 gene male for that girl though.

I got my lemonblast with intent to breed her to a firefly I plan to purchase in the future. Who knows, maybe I'd change my plan in a year or two.

I went with a bee for my female blast when she's old enough. A lot of cool possibilities.

I have a lemonblast male that i plan on breeding with my fire female by end of year and in the future with my Bbee female, that's if i don't get lucky and hit a dragonfly. You have a very nice lemonblast
