Who's got the biggest balls???

Lol. Just like the title says. I've got 4 ball pythons but my biggest one weighs in at 750g. I know she's not the biggest on here so, who has the BIGGEST?

My biggest is only 2700g or so (that's with follicle development). I know she's not the biggest, but she's MY biggest.

My biggest currently sitting at 1890g She was hatched in 1993

My biggest is 1150g. This weight was from a couple weeks ago. I'm sure she's a little more now

I know mine is not the largest, but she is 3300 + grams. There is a scale pic in my gallery but that holding all winter meals in. After she dropped a dog log and a couple golf balls she went down 20- 25 grams.

Close to 2kg, she was 1860g last time i weighed her. Hopefully gunna ovy soon! :)

She's been pounding rats since coming an is around 1900 grams last weight in was 1894 or something like that its written some where

My cinny is at 1900. Right now. :) shell be ready next season!

I've heard of a few 4,000 grams one but also a MALE who was 5,000 something. Ive never seen the pic but. People back up the story. Also a 4,000 gram BP is HUGE. I've held on and she was GIGANTIC!! THE NORMAL for larges though usually stays aroubd 3000 to 3500

Not the biggest by any means but while most of my females are in the 2000 grams + grams, I also have a 3000 grams Spider an a 3500 grams Het Pied

My big female is 3700 gm. She is a beast 5'6" and as large around as a can of pop.

I think there may have been a similar thread to this a few years ago, but one member posted a normal girl named "Pear" and she was 6000g. I dont really have any big balls right now, cuz my biggest 3200g girl died two years ago. My friend Joe has a nice pastel subsaharan girl tho whos about 6000g now :D...got her at the Hamburg show at 4000g last fall.

My two biggest females are 3600 and 3800 grams respectively. The 3600 gram girl is about 5'5" and is a subsaharan. The 3800 gram girl is the mother of my fires, and is right at 6' long. She is a massive girl, and I love her to pieces.

The dark one is the subsahara, the light one is just a really big ball python.

I would very much like to see pictures of the Pastel subsaharan. I don't believe I've ever seen a morph that large. Pictures of morphs people claim are that big, but pictures that prove it, no. Does she carry the massive head that is signature to the subs?

These are great scales, I'm on my 2nd one now.. handy tip: Don't get them wet. They pretty much stop working immediatly.

I've got a few girls in the 3Kg + range but most of my adults are between 1500-2500.

Tell ya what, Gale....hold that thought. The next time I go over Joe's (hopefully sooner than later) I will get a pic of her on the scale. But she is massive, and when he saw her at the show he snagged her up quick.

Neat thread! It's cool to see the size of full grown girls since I mostly see younger pics.

One of my balls is bigger than the others....

Shes about 3000+ grams. Have 2 others close behind at 2500-2700 grams. I cant wait till we see who has the 4000+ grammers!!

Yes they do, normal feeding for mine. There are genetics and human nature at play. The sub Saharan royals tend to be bigger with very large heads. Mine is one. Her offspring also tend to be large too.

Big females often lay more and larger eggs. This means a breeder is likely to keep and regularly breed a large female. Size tends to be a trait that is passed along. The end result is larger animals.

The last factor is the tech and understanding of royals in captivity is increasing. Years ago there were misunderstanding and imperfect housing. Now housing is improved and understanding so longer lived healthier animal are resulting. This is allowing them to grow to the full potential. Again bigger animals.

There is still lots of learning! There still is no exact idea of upper age limits. We know 47 years in captivity but that animal was an adult when brought in from the wild.

All of my larger girls get rats in the 100/125 grams range once a week nothing more.

Female under 2000 grams get rats in the 80/100 grams.

I have raised all my animals since they were hatching.

The only time I feed a little heavier (every 5 days) is prior to breeding season, I do so while they take it and before they start fasting.

I've always wondered who on the forum has the oldest ball..

I have a male that is 1978g at three years old. He's three meals in after a 5 month fast, so I'm interested to see how much he keeps after a shed and poop, and how much he'll be by fall.

this normal female is almost 5100 grams last time I weigh her. the pastel clown isn't breeding her, I just put him in to compare sizes. she's also in a cb70 tub.

My big girl was at around 2900 before she ovulated, after laying she was around 1700. She has been eating like crazy for the past month and is already over 2100 again :). Hoping for 3500 this year!!!

My biggest BP is my 1000 gram male. I cant wait until he gets bigger.

Fascinated by this thread! How in the world do these large beauties fit into a hide? Or do they not use hides anymore once they get 5-feet long and a few thousand grams? It's a serious question because the biggest I have is a 700g "baby" compared to some of these bruisers, and I just can't fathom how I'm going to find hides big enough for her some day if she gets so big!

Not sure bout everyone else, but my biggest girl doesnt have a hide. She's in a tub an doesn't seem to mind the lack of one :)

I kind of ween mine off hides once they get close to 1k grams and they're in a rack. Doesn't seem to bother any of them.

I think the question of a hide is how they are housed. In the enclosure she gets hides, wash basins, in a rack she has nothing.

I have an old male. I have had him for 4 years I guess, I had him for a friend whom had to re home him due to health issues. he had him for 15 years or so and he inturn rescued him from an an owner whom said he was in her keeping for 2 or 3 years. he was an adult when she got him.

That means he is at least 22 but likely older. I figure he is middle aged now.
