Bad Parking Appreciation Thread

You've seen it, maybe you've done it before.

This thread is dedicated to immortalizing those cars whose parking jobs make you want to set that person on fire.

Okay, maybe just send them back to drivers ed. :D

I'll kick it off with an oldie but goodie. Right outside my old apartment last fall.

WHY?? Why would you do that?? Look at all that room in front of you!!! Note, there was also a bunch of space behind the other car as well.

O I can find dumb parkers! People in my town beyond dumb! Next time I shop ill find some

Its a chrysler, god forbid anyone parked next to it!

My favorites are the ones that park with one tire on the white line, so you almost think you can squeeze in next to them. :groinkick

I don't know where the picture went, but I do have one somewhere of this one time I was at yoga practice and someone parked next to me, literally one inch from my car. I had to get in through the passenger side..

It was absurd! I think the picture is on my old phone.. which is packed up somewhere in a box..

I will get a pic sometime. I guy on my paper route likes to park in the middle of the road all night.

My neighbor parks in the middle of his lawn from time to time. I'll get a picture next time.

What kind of two wheeled vehicle is your dad parking on the sidewalk?

Well he parked in the middle of the road tonight so I took a picture. Sorry about the pictures kind of hard to take a picture on a cell phone at 4 a.m. and be able to see what your taking a picture of.

Today at school one of the semi drivers from the class parked his student semi across the fire students garage doors. My teacher snapped on him before I could dig out my phone. O an I should make it known our main door was opening when he parked and he could see us all looking at him like wtf dude were backing our trucks out! His excuse was he wanted to get in for lunch..

For some reason people are so special they can park in the road instead of walking an extra five feet maybe ten

I had something for this, darn the family-friendly nature of this forum!

There's a client that pulls her giant luxury car up onto the sidewalk, then up to the front of the glass wall(well past the sidewalk section even!) to park right nose-to-wall in front of the vet office. It's not even a parking space BEFORE you get to the sidewalk... it's a driving lane and fire lane, with parking across that.

I await the day when she misjudges and takes out the front. Then I can declare "I told you". The vet techs excuse it saying she's old and this way she doesn't have to walk as far. But the difference between parking in the fire lane(unloading and loading etc no one EVER bothers you) and parking within hugging distance of the glass is about 4 steps. If she can't walk the 4 steps, then how does she walk around inside the clinic?

If/when she parks that way, I'll grab a pic of it.

I can't even think of a worthy caption for this. Like. why would you do that to a car, THEN LEAVE IT THERE. Especially a good-looking one like that. Mind you, there Is a pretty steep GRASSY slope beyond that curb, leading straight down into the brick apartment building.

Rear wheel drive car can't get much traction when the rear wheels aren't touching any surface. Call a tow truck and a mechanic, this thing is gonna need some work..

It's a shame that people who can afford cars like this can't spend some money on driving lessons.

The thing is, it sat like this for a day! A FULL DAY! The owner didn't even bother to fix it til the next morning! College town kids, naturally... driving around with Daddy's Money, then landing on a curb after a beer too many. He's lucky he didn't go farther. (Gender is an assumption.)
