Anyone else still waiting on females to ovy?
So I unsure if I will get eggs from some of my females this year. They are still locking up but there seems to be a lack of follicle growth. Does this mean I'm still ok?

Keep pairing until you see the ovy! Some of my females just recently (in the last two weeks) started glowing and building. I probably won't see eggs from them for another couple months.

Ok, because by this time last year everyone laid. Also the 2 that did lay slugged out. :/

It's still early, I had ovulations through September last year.

As others have said it's still early and just keep pairing.
We've only had 4 Ovy's and 1 clutch layed so far. And have plenty of girls still to go.
We are actually going to just start pairing one female this week.

I have one clutch that is about due to hatch.

Other than that, ee have 7 other females all breeding this year, and so far NOTHING. Locking, yes, but most have small follicles. THey're a long ways off. Oddly enough, the girl with the biggest follicles is the 4 year old het. Pied virgin who would only eat live mice for the first 3 years of her life.

It's gonna be a late season for us!

So don't be too surprised or discouraged if you're still just plugging away with not a lot happening.

That was the talk at Atlanta Repticon. All the breeders are still pairing and watching for ovulations.

    I'm still pairing right now.

I have plenty of ovy's so far, it seems like the pre-lay sheds are taking forever this year.

I've got two girls breeding. one was a 2000g virgin normal that was paired since October. She's still locking but FINALLY showing signs of building. Lately, she's been laying inverted. I hope I get an ovy soon from her.

The second girl was a 1500g virgin pastel that I just started pairing in January. However, her weight was in the 1400-1500g range FOREVER until last month...now she's 1700g+ and not eating. I hope that's something xD

Everyone's season is late and everyone was relieved to hear it wasn't just them.

While we are on the topic, I like most others, am still waiting for several to ovy, I do have one that should lay by this weekend, and a clutch already in the bater. Of course, the few that I am really wanting to lay are taking their sweet time.

I have a pied that stopped eating back in November, then stopped pairing in February. From my not so expert palpating, she has follicles, but still has a bit of time to go. So my question is, if she still has months to go, but her last pairing being in February, does her chances of reabsorbing/slugging/laying infertle eggs increase? Or should this not be much of a concern since they store sperm anyways?

Last season I had ovy's in March and clear up to September.
If we would have better storms in the winter months we might be able to move our season a little earlier, but we seem to get most of our stormy weather in Jan/Feb and later over the last few seasons.

Guess we're in the same boat, no sign of follicular development [never been any good at palpating anyway...] but positive locks.
I'm still pairing tho, been pairing since Nov 1st 2012...
