    New Snake Rack and New Snakes
    Hey guys I'm new here Made a snake rack today let me know what you think...Flex Watt is on its way I will install it as soon as I get it. I also got 2 new snakes Lemon Pastel from Colletti Exotics and a Lemon Blast From Gumby's Reptiles...and just so you know both snakes were shipped to me and they came in perfect clean packages and snakes are nice and Healthy..would order from these 2 again any day. The color on the Lemon Blast is SO hard to capture he is nice and bright unlike the pics. Enjoy and I look forward to getting to know you guys here.

    Very nice rack, and cute hides as well!
    Hope the heat tape comes soon, as well as a thermostat :)

    Great snakes as well!
    Any plans on filling up the other tubs?

    thanks! well I have have friends and cousins that work at a pretty big Lumber yard out here and They damaged a sheet of melamine for me to take for free LOL! the poplar I used cost me $22 but I have enough for one more rack ;)

    So $22 worth of poplar and how big a sheet of Melamine? I think this one's within my woodworking skills...

    Tape should be here soon it's pretty warm at home right now so im not too worried.

    I do have plans for the other tubs the reptile supper show comes in July out here I believe...gonna get a Spider and Pinstripe Female :rolleye2:

    Nice econo-rack. Make sure you properly quarantine your new animals before putting them together in that rack.

    Also make sure that the hide you are using is not made out of cedar. It is hard to tell from the picture, but cedar has irritants in it that can really bother a snake's respiratory system.

    Sorry for the late reply I honestly didnt see this before...the sheet was a 4'x8' My cousins work at the local lumber yard so they found a "broken" sheet for me...LOL BUT if you go to your local yard they sometimes have racks with broken sheets and they sell them for cheap around $5-$15
