    Help ID morph
I got this ball python as a rescue and noticed it was different. From all of the pictures I've looked through of the different morphs it looks like an axanthic enchi to me. please help me identify the genetics. thanks. It ay be hard to tell from the lighting in the pics but there is no black in the design only shades of brown.

Enchi would wonk up the pattern. The pattern doesnt look like it to me...from what i've seen but some snake ID god should set it straight soon

Looks like a normal to me. Definetly no Enchi there. Plus if it was axanthic there wouldn't be any yellow in the snake so there shouldn't be any brown, only shades of grey.

Head shot, belly shot and, full pattern shot might help those aforementioned morph ID'ing gods.
Of which I am not one but, I honestly from those pics only see a normal.

Wait 5 minutes and you might see why I am not great at ID'ing random BP's.

Uh albino? Take some pictures in natural light and the colors will come out better.

I have a normal girl that looks very similar to yours. I am breeding her this year so we shall see, but from my small amount of knowledge it's nothing abnormal.

The fact that this animal is a rescue and looks to be very malnourished it could be suffering from hormone imbalances due to stress & poor diet that have affected its color.
From those pictures it just looks like a normal under some odd lighting.
I have a snake that too lacks any black on her body (like the snake in my display pic), and has been this way for years, but in her case I haven't proven if its genetic yet.
so just feed that snake back up to health and see if its colors become more vibrant.

I thought for sure the lack of all black coloration meant something, but to look at a normal and this one together they look very different.

I appreciate all the quick replies.

Also venturing to say normal, albeit a very nice one! Loving her face mask.

Once you get her up to weight, you could breed her out to find out what's actually in there. She's a lovely specimen whether her genes read as normal or not!

Normals come in all shades of color. Some are high gold, some are more brown than black, some are really light, and some are really dark. You can even put two normals from the same clutch next to one another and they will still look different from one another.

What you have there is a pretty normal. If it's female, I'd welcome it in my rack ;)

I'd say poss Burgundy. Although you would have to prove her out....and being that she is so very thin lack of nutrition can drastically cause a color shift. Feed her for a few months and then retake photos and see how she looks. If she is still lacking any black then I would say Burgundy. I have one and she only has tones of red and tans....the morph has been proven but not much has been done with it. Good luck!

That is a normal. I have a few brown normals. Def not enchi nor axanthic.

Thanks again for all your responses. I will feed her and get her fat and then breed her.

What is her weight currently? (I'm sorry if you answered this somewhere already in-thread, I'm on my phone and fairly limited accessibility-wise.)

The reason why she lacks pigment is because she is extremely underweight. Seen this a lot in rescues unfortunately. Hopefully you can get some weight on her quickly. Poor thing. :(
