I wish I could go but will not be in town until the following weekend. Not sure if this is the place for this but what are some good places to check out in the twin cities area for reptiles?

I am from South Dakota but make it up every other week for schooling and would love to find some place other then petsmart to get my stuff from.

    Thanks

We like Twin Cities Reptiles down on University. Are you very familiar with the area? We haven't actually bought anything from them, but we had them sex our sand boa last week and my kids love visiting the store!

I have worked in the area for the past year at the U of M so I am fairly confident I can find it.

    Thanks

Leaping Lizards is another good option; they're on highway 13 about a mile west of 35W. (Chowen Ave, to be specific.)

I'll be there to window shop, I've been thinking about picking up some gargs. I've been a vendor before but I really don't have anything to sell right now. I'll probably get a table for the summer show.

Look for our banner, JSA Reptiles. We will have ball and carpet pythons and some frozen rodents.

Also agree, Bruce and Sara are great people over at TCR.

I'll be there with the whole family on Sunday. I also agree, Twin Cities Reptiles is a great spot.

I need a few decorative items for the boa cage so the expo should be a great spot to find a deal or two.

Saturday was a great time. We really like the new set up at the Fair grounds, more room to move and more venders then years past. Met a lot of new people and look forward to meeting a bunch more tomorrow. We still have some frozen rodents left if anyone is looking for some.

I had a good time there too. Picked up a mourning gecko and a cage to put it in, which was a little out of character for me. Also picked up a trio of ASF's. I've never tried these before so I picked up a small breeding group to give them a try. Looked like the vendors were doing well too, lots of empty display cases.

Sorry Carlson, I didn't get any pictures. I just didn't think of it.

I had a great time today checking things out. I was on the look out if a female beardie to pair with my citrus and ended up falling in love with an albino girl from JSA reptiles.

I was there again today to pick up some rats. Rodent Pro is one of the regular vendors. The show prices are a quarter more per rat then the online prices but then you don't have to pay shipping so it's a bit cheaper. Picked up 50 medium rats for $100.00. I'm glad I got my mourning gecko yesterday, they were all sold out today. There were some mighty empty looking tables today so I think the vendors did pretty well. As far as Tarantulas there were quite a few. Also, a good friend of mine who breeds a lot of spiders will be vending there in September.
