You know I think I would pair her with that stinging bumblebee when the time comes. Just imagine the possibilities! What would it even be called?....

That's the way I am leaning too! My Leopard already has dates with my Champagne Pastel PHOG, Lesser Blackback, black pastel granite, and spider. I think Iron man will go very nicely with that Fire Calico female. Can you imagine a Enchi Pastel Spider Fire Calico 50% HOG? Would that be a Stinging Fire BumbleCalibee?

    Love the fire calico!

How can you tell the black pastel carries the granite gene? Just wondering :)

Agreed, Fire was one of those genes "that grew on me" over time, but after her and my FireFly female I am just in love with gene. I would like to add a male in the future as I love the Super form just as much. Truly one of the best genes around!

No worries...to be honest I am not familiar with the granite gene (first in my collection), but I believe it is the pattern along the side and how it plays with the side flames and pattern. Chris Berrios at S.FL Constrictors is a standup guy that works a lot with granite so I have no doubt when he tells me she is a granite (foolish maybe, but what is this world without trust :gj:). Comparing her side by side with a regular black pastel, she is definitely different in her side pattern. Sorry I can't be specific, just not as comfortable with the gene as yet (I will get there!)

That is a very sweet Fire Calico. I don't see the granite in that Black Pastel either. Looks like a normal Black Pastel to me.either way nice pick ups.

Possible, I'll confirm with Chris why he thinks she is a granite. Personally, she is a great example of the Black Pastel gene I have been wanting to add and because I worked out a deal there was no "up charge" for the granite and I got a great price on a quality Black Pastel :-) if she proves granite its a bonus ;-)

I like wasp! I haven't seen that yet! Or bumblesting! Then I will put my leopard to her and my pewter blackback! Don't be jealous, she will have lots of beautiful babies! I can't wait for her to grow up and get her whites in.....i think she will fill out in some bright whites nicely!

Mind sharing how much you paid for the black pastel poss granite? My first impression is that she is just has a super squiggly pattern, but granite would be awesome. :)
