I don't know if its just me or its forum wide. Sometimes I want to go to the site and the site comes up that it does not exist or is busy. I know its not my internet because i have a cable modem.

Maybe the godfather will be able to answer my question.

Does anyone have these problems? I notice that it happens during peak use hours. And can it be fixed?

    Site problems.
Yeah, I couldn't get in for a couple hours there, too. Past few days it seems to get real slow for some reason. I also have cable (3 meg) and other sites are fine, just this one......did a trace just for kicks and no go. Seems fine now, though. Maybe someone spilled coffee on the server or a drunk driver sheered a phone pole somewhere.....lol

yeah, i have had that problem too Will, along with the other problems discussed & i know it must be the site itself cuz the rest of my websites load up just fine.

Not good - beat your host with a stick - try that link I gave you for Ritechhosting.com is good stuff - fraid I havent had experience with anyone else but the current state leaves a lot to be desired. Was down last night primetime a couple hours in the vicinity of 8pm.

I am wondering if this is why our ratings are dropping? I too need my Ball-pythons.net fix every day. During the day at work i visit the site pretty much all day long.

IT is indeed. There was another outage this morning after I managed a few posts.

I was able to connect until about 9:30 Eastern this morning, then the site was down until a couple of minutes ago.

I'm gonna find out what the problem is asap. This is freaking nuts, I'll decide what to do after alking with some tech support.

Glad to hear it's not just me! I've been crazy-busy the last week or so, and anxious for my time to sit here and relax...then when I finally get a chance to log on, the site has been down. VERY frustrating, to say the least.

First time entering the murky boa forum!
It's all fixed. The only problem is waiting for everyone to be directed to this server.

It was caused by a program that'd start many smaller processes and crash the server. We got moved to a brand spankin new server tho, so it's all ok.
