Scammer alert!

Hey guys if you have not yet seen Mike Wilbanks has been having issues with a scammer stealing his pics and using them for profit. This guy has operated under the name "constructors unlimited" and has now been operating under "Times Reptiles". Keep an eye out for this person. I am sure he will pop up again under a different name eventually and we just need to keep a watchful eye.

Just banned him from here a few minutes ago. He's also trying to use the name Collin Weaver (or some variation thereof)...so it's both him and Mike that are wrestling with this jerk. His IP was from Cameroon.

His user name is what jumped out at me and when I read his post and saw Times Reptiles red flags shot up. Its too bad they have to deal with this guy.

Are all the pics from that FB Mike's pics and info?

No, he's using pics from multiple breeders. Some of Brandon Osbornes snakes are on there too as well as one or two other people's.

A few more ID were banned while waiting for approval

This guy is smart enough to use Proxy showing him all over the place so IP ban is not an option.

He now also has a personal FB page under the name of Collins Weaver. Posting some silly thing in groups about a funeral for his son. This person just won't give up.

The way this person talks it sounds like he's from or in another country. The posts remind me of the way the Nigerian scammers word their posts.

yeah it does to me as well. Cameroon is right next to Nigeria so.

Note to self: get a live person on the telephone with a confirmed number of a legitimate entity before engaging in a monetary transaction over the internet.

I've read so many horror stories about online transactions/people having their work stolen. I think I'll just stick to things in person.

With the right tools it's really easy to track someone down even if they are using a proxy. The alternative a lot of sites use is to just not allow proxies. No real reason to be using it unless you're up to no good.

Attention.. This scammer is also operating under these name on FB.. You can find the pages easily. The same number is being used, stolen photos from other breeders, and the same post about a funeral is also being used.

I've noticed that some of my friends on my friends are on some of this persons friends lists on these FB pages... Please check your friends lists. Do not support a scammer.

Ian Gilber just friended me on facebook. Same pictures of snakes that aren't his and the same story that his family just lost a child....

SOMEONE GET AHOLD OF THIS GUY, and tell them you have very interested friend,
then pm me for my number. if i can get ahold of him i can get this sorted out.

I think we should just all call this number at random times of the day and annoy them and maybe they'll stop. Call them and when they answer say something stupid then hang up. I bet if they had hundreds of calls a day like this they'd eventually stop with that phone number. In the meantime everybody should report it to facebook that it's a fake person.

i need the number working so i can get him. i have cash in hand and a few very good friends in the area... hint. now. if he will answer we can get this sob.

Anyone done buisness with a Warren LaPorte. Cant seem to find him anywhere. WLExotics. Im relatively new but i havent heard of him and cant find him. I am on my phone though. Lol
