How many slot AP rack for a beginner?

If you were a beginner, and looking to breed in a couple years (3-5), how many slots would you pick? I'm looking at the 4,5, and 6 slot CB70 IRIS rack. I only have one BP now, but i'll have another in a couple of months. (both will be females)

4 slot- $310
5 slot- $385
6 slot- $460

10 Slots because believe me you will get more and more and more. Always plan ahead :gj:

I started with a 4 slot. Im close to filling a 10 slot. Its been like 2 years lol

I voted for the 6 slot. I think that is a modest number and that is how many adult slots I made for my first rack.

That being said, I ended up with way more than 6 snakes! :O

Definitely start with as many slots as you can afford! I promise you will fill it up. I started with a 5 slot rack and one normal ball just a month ago, and im already down to just 1 empty tub (and looking to fill it) ball pythons are so addictive.

Still just a senior in high school tho! Heard about the empty rack syndrome haha.. I just don't want to regret getting too many or too little.. now I learned that theirs never too little rack space you can have! Would you get the 5 or 6? i was even thinking about the 7 but that's getting a bit pricey.. like $510! if it's worth it, then I might get it though! hard choice

some rack systems are stackable, so you can still go up instead of having them spread out wasting room above them.

Alot of people in this thread suggesting I get 10. I'm personally looking at the 5, 6, or 7 slot racks! like I said i'm still only 18, but I feel like putting a little extra money doesn't hurt, instead of having to get a whole other rack. What do you think? how many

No matter how many you get, you will always need a couple more... Trust me :P

like wes said you will always need more, if you have a love for this hobby. most of my racks are 12 high and I'm always looking for more room.

I started with a 7 slot and it was filled in two months. Buying racks gets VERY expansive, id reccomend bu ildibg one to be honest. Here's a link to the obe I'm building. Its going to cost me taking awsy my wifes discount on a few things 165 for 4 levrls and 330 for the wjole 9 levels.

Also don't get me wrong, I love my AP rack, its just diffucilt to control the temp at the bottom and top. To get the top to 90 hot spot tge middle will be at 93-96 and the bortom will be 86-87. I keep my room heated to 80 and it is still diffuxilt to control
