First clutch ever!!!! Yayayay!!!!!

I just came home and found my female, Eero, on a pile of eggs. I'm about to take her off and count/weigh them. They all look really good!!!

I'd like to take this time to thank all of you here on BP.net. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be where I am today. I'd still have my snake in a glass tank with an unregulated heat source and dial thermometers. You guys set me straight and gave me all the tools and knowledge I needed to get where I am. I learned so much from you guys and its made this process so much easier for me. I knew exactly what to do when those eggs hit the ground. I feel really proud of myself and my snake Eero, The one who started it all :)

Haha yeah I know, but I've been waiting for this girl to lay for like... 4 months? a two month wait is nothing! At least I have something to look at :)

LOL, i have found the wait once eggs are out to be far worse then them to lay them.

congratz on the clutch. The next 2 months suck, christmas as a kid has nothing on your first clutch wait. good luck on that too! :D don

Congrats on the clutch and 7 is a great number for any clutch. Keep us posted on the progress and how little your nails get from all the impatient biting before they hatch. :P

I kicked the nail biting habit long ago! You guys will for sure see lots of updates on these guys, probably more when they pip. Time to mark 55 days on my calendar!

Oh yay Steffe!!!! You finally get to have your own babies hatching soon! I got a pipper last night and squealed lol!! I don't think the excitement fades no matter how many times you see it :) I bet you'll be acting even crazier than I do ;)

Hi guys! The eggs are doing great :) candling nicely with lots of movement! They are a little bit dimply, but my humidity is perfect so I'm just letting them be. They seem completely fine otherwise.

The containers I used are Rubbermaid salad keepers! I got them at the grocery store as they are the only size that fits in my incubator.

Day 55 is June 2nd. So about 2 weeks away!! :D

Snapped this picture this morning! With a little over a week to go until day 55, the eggs are starting to dimple.

I'm so excited!!! Kinda pissed about the timing though, I'm leaving saturday to visit my family in Michigan, and I will be getting back on **DAY 54** aaahh!!!!

Its okay though, there will be someone home to keep an eye on the eggs :) I am going to speed like none other on my way back!!!



Aaaaand My pastel is looking like she will lay a clutch the week after, and I have another normal that is having her pre-lay shed right now! Hooray for babies!!

Thanks guys!! I'm trying really hard to be patient.. its tough!! Surprisingly, the 55 day wait wasn't that bad. It was just easy to leave them alone and check once a week... but these last 3 days have been killer!!

I candled on saturday and I saw some obvious patterns.. so I know they aren't all normals at least! haha

I'm right there with you, mine haven't pipped yet either and they were laid the same day. UGH! Lol.
